Called and left no voicemail.

number calls everyday, never leaves A MESSAGE

I have been getting phone calls from this number for about a year now, asking for somebody that I have never even heard of. I explain the situation each time I'm contacted just to be assured that my number will be removed from the call list.

Unwanted call!!!

Constant calls and hangups. No message left, ever.

Calls constantly and asks for some guy named Eric. I've had the same number for 16 years which I explain to them, but they still call everyday. Never answer anymore and they don't leave a message.

At this point, it is harassment, and you should be able to sue them if they do not stop.

(866) 884-0799 calling for a debt collection on my ex husband of 5 years ago. Then started calling my parents and siblings.

Calls started about 2 months after my dad died looking for someone to handle his final affairs. I have no connections to any of my dads accounts, but they are looking for any family member to pay any last bills he had. Good luck with that.

I received a phone call from this number at 9:02am on 9/15/15 while I was asleep. A voicemail was left, so I listened. Clearly, it is an African-American female's voice. She states she is with Calvary Portfolio Services. Although, she never indicates the person's name of who she is trying to contact nor what debt she claims to be collecting on, just that she is calling as a debt collector. She gives an 800-number with a 5-digit extension to call back.

This debt collector cannot be for me because, after losing both my jobs, I filed Chapter 7 BK last year and had all my debt wiped out and discharged.

I see Calvary Portfolio Services has an A+ with the Better Business Bureau, but that shocks me because they seem to be very vague and shady in their attempts to contact people.

As I said, I owe no debt to anyone at this point after my BK was discharged; perhaps they're contacting me about someone else I know, but why would I want to be bothered with that?!

Luckily, I have an iPhone and I have the option to block the number from calling me in the future. I will be blocking the number if I continue to receive more calls and vague voicemails from this number/company.

This business buys old debt to make a profit on it. None of these such businesses are anything but shady bottom feeders.

I did not answer the call but I am a researcher by trade, so I researched them. Do what you will with the info, it is public info from the BBB. Fax em, email them or HEY give em a call and say "Hi!"
