I do not believe this toll free number is a true Financial Advisor(s) as they are using some very shady practices.  They seem to claim they are mulitple things then what they truly are to the customers and the businesses.

I too was suspicious when I received this phone call. They said the name of their company was Americare Software Solutions. Of course everyone wants to lower thei interest rates, but I was suspicious because they were asking too many questions about my credit cards - the account number, balance, how much was open to charge, etc.  I hung up and alerted my credit card company.  They suggested I change the account number immediately.

Americare Software Solutions is the rip-off artists of Versadebt.  Check out their websites, similar formats, same addresses (PO Boxes nonetheless), different phone numbers though.  The phone number isn't within the US and even though the comany is in GA, the domain is registered to:

    Home Design
    4340 vonkarmen ave

    newport beach, California 92660

    Nice group of people, huh?

They called and sweet-talked me into the last 4 digits of my SSN, my credit card number, my interest rates, my house number. I immediately cancelled my credit card and then joined LifeLock!

I have to report this, because we came very close to paying these people money.  We have several credit cards, all have reasonable aprs, except for 1 (because we were late with one payment).  We called the Bank today (it is a credit card with one of the largest Banking institutions OF America) and asked to speak to someone about lowering our current interest rate.  We gave the bank some information and they indicated they would get back to us.  A few hours later, Americare Software Solutions called to talk to us about lowering our interest rate.  We fell right into it, because we thought it was the bank calling us back with a legitimate "offer"...The phone call went on, just as described in  these comments.  After the call, "gut feeling" just wasn't right, so we went on line to google and - here we are.  We called back the bank and the "transaction" was already pending on our CC, which we cancelled.  If anyone has been led to this site about this number, or company - DO NOT DO IT.

they also called me and I gave them a credit card number that I had cancelled, while they were checking it out I googled the phone number and read all these messages. Then they came back on the line and told me they needed another credit card number, was I grateful for these messages, as I hung up on them.

I received a call from this number about lower my credit card interest rate and it would cost me nothing. Their financial group would make their money throught saving me money. I was transferred to two other people, the last ask to OK a fee of $990 to my Visa card. I OKed the charge.
On the 3 day I called Customered service to cancel my participation in their program, after about a 10 minute wait she returned to the phone to tell me that her supervisor to her that I had given verble authorization and the order must be processed. I was told could not cancel until a financial member spoke with me but no one would be available until 2/11/08 at Noon. I contacted my Bank about the charge and was told it was pending debt autorization and would expire on that 3rd day.
The next day I checked my credit card and a purchase of $990 appeared.
On 2/11/08 at 12:20pm, I received a call from a yound lady in the Financial group to completed my profile. She ask how many card would they need to contact to get a lower rate. She ask for the credit card Number and the last  digits of my SS#. I again told her that I had called to cancel my participation, to which she tell me what the customer service supervisor had said. I told her that I called to cancel and was not interest in the program. She connected me with her supervisor, I told him that I had called on the 3rd day to cancel. I connected my bank and was told it was a pending debt and would be cancelled on that day. On the forth day a purchase for $990 appeared. He told me not to get upset and he was sorry for the difficulity, that he would process my request for a refund of $990 within 7 business days

All the stories seem to be the same as with me, A frendly call from my credit card Co. with a free (with a fee of $990.00) way to get me out of debt quick. My plan 5 years  there plan 35 years at an extra cost of $67,000.00 to them. I still do not qualify for my refund. This is a true scam company and I,m game for a class action suite instead of a bunch of individuals that got ripped off.
