- Snoopy0724The automated message uses (insert your name) when leaving a message. Says it is an important message about Medicare. It's really laughable because the message gives a 7 digit pin number that I must enter when returning the call. This verifies that I am indeed the correct person. LOL!!! They also said they will call back if they do not hear from me.
- RonRobo call, said they were Coventry and this was a message for (my name) and I needed to call them back at 1-866-887-9743 and identify myself with a seven digit ID # that they supplied. When I checked caller ID the number was "UNAVAILABLE". Do not return call.

- Skoi| 2 repliesBEWARE!
Following is copy of exact message left on my voicemail. Note the word TOLL alert at begging of message! Also, there is NO SUCH NAME AS Coventry Medicare! Please beware. Ironic that I do have Coventry/HealthAmerica, so perhaps their database phone numbers were hacked? Do all these other people who've commented ALSO have Coventry insurance?
Reverse Lookup indicates "1-866-887-9743 is not a valid number. If you are sure that you got a phone call from a number beginning with this prefix, the caller may have 'spoofed' caller ID."

- MergyBecause I do have Coventry Insurance I returned the call. Caller asked a series of health questions requiring a yes or no answer. I contacted Coventry Customer Service @ 1-800-290-0190 this morning and CONFIRMED this is a valid survey number for Coventry Medicare.- Caller: Coventry Medicare
- Sandy replies to SkoiThanks, I almost answered! I have Coventry also.
- Vickie replies to MargeMakes no sense. Coventry already has address info for all their clients and if they don't have your zip code, that info is available on the internet without having to make a phone call. Sounds fishy to me.
- MarnieI talked to a customer service rep at Coventry. She could not verify the 866-887-9743 # and said that they are doing a survey but if the recording doesn't ask for the pin # then it is a scam. They are aware of the scam. They need to take better care of their clients by not doing robo calls!

- angryI also have Coventry medicare--recently I had x-rays at my ortho & 1 week later they are calling me---usually they want to ask questions about why you had a visit- doctor office sends them a valid code on this. then they will want to promote an in house visit from one of their "patient advocates"...don't fall for this
- ichy7Coventry Healthcare calling to check up up on your health. Automated survey. Finally got tired and hung up onthem.

- Dan| 2 repliesI fell for the Coventry call and answered a series of questions about my health. Almost all of my replies to the health questions were a "No." Can't remember if there was a "Yes" or two. I'm gonna call Coventry and complain if they are doing these dumb surveys. I got separate calls from "Aetna" after the Coventry calls. That's when I finally got suspicious. I do not even have Aetna. Aetna calls like this are apparently well-known scams. Did not reply.
- BarbaraI called Coventry to verify 866-887-9743, it is a valid Coventry number optional if you want to participate in their survey. I'm not doing it.

- La replies to DanAetna owns Coventry now.
- VJAfter listening to the message that was left from Coventry Medicare, I blocked my number and called the number. When the recording started playing again, I was shocked that it identified my name as the caller, even though I had blocked my number. It also told me my 7 digit pin and I wrote it down, but I didn't need to utilize it at this time. I answered some of the automated questions, but then I stopped and hung up. I thought that maybe I got the automated survey because it was after regular business hours. There is something strange about this and I wish now that I wouldn't have participated at all.

- SmithI've got this message a few times, supposedly from Coventry Medicare. I do have a Coventry Advantage plan. First time, I called back, put in pin, ended up on a sex-talk/"900" $$$ per minute scam, hung up immediately. My feeling is anyone who needs to contact me can do it by mail. I never answer my phone , only respond to mesages from callers I know. I've had way too many irs scam calls, Nigerian "send me money " calls, computer lockup scams.
- Caller: Coventry Medicare (supposedly)
