This phone number is used by a debt collector.

An automated system comes on and asks you to wait for someone who will come on the line in a few seconds

How stupid? The phone rings and it's a number you know nothing about and you answer. It's an automated message telling you to wait for a rep. They must need the money for more drugs!

I have picked it up once or twice when the number shows up on my caller ID and no one is ever there.  Crazy thing, Is a debt collector has no reason calling me!?

This number calls me at least three times a day starting as early as 7:30am.  They never leave a message.  I have pulled my credit and have no collections that they would be calling about.

I get numerous calls everyday and everytime I pick up, no one is there.  I believe the whole intent on these people calling is to irritate you and since their number appears on the caller ID, it encourages you to call them back.  I am wondering if being on the "Do Not Call Registry" is the reason they hang up before you answer since them calling you would be a violation.

I keep getting a call everyday at work from these people.  A person comes on and theatens that I better call them back before the end of the day.  They don't say what it is about.  I do not have anything with a Crescent Bank & Trust.  I am sure this s a scam or a previous credit card company that has been wrote off my credit report still trying to collect a debt they cannot.

Has called so much it's ridiculous. I'm on the do not call rigestry. Stop !!!

The company is Crescent Bank and Trust.  They keep calling looking for Donald Wood Jr.  I talked to a supervisor who refused to talk to the individual that keeps calling me.  They have branches all other the U.S. and I wouldn't bank at any of them!

Called my place of employment requesting verification of employment on a particular employee. Asked him why he was looking for him and he stated he was with Crescent Bank and Trust. I asked him when was the last time he had spoken with this person and he sarcastically stated that it was irrelivant. He just wanted to know if he worked here or not. Told him not to call again as this young man is now deceased. He was shocked and immediately hung up. Know it was a scam!!

I'm getting calls from this number pretty regular.  It appears to be a real person, a woman, and she does leave a message calling me by name and asking me to return the call.  I have an excellent credit report and no debt, and there's NOTHING they could possibly be calling me about.  Don't know if it's the Crescent Bank and Trust that others have noted, but we've never heard of them and don't have a bank by that name in our state that we know of.  They are either calling the wrong person entirely because I have the same name as someone they are looking for, or someone we know has used us as a reference and they are now in trouble and being pursued by these people, but either way, it's none of our business.  It does no good to pick up the phone and tell these people that you are NOT the person they are looking for as they still continue to call.  UGH!

I just got through applying for some jobs now I just got a call from them.  My phone is going to be ringing off the hook with this nonsense.

Moron debt collectors at Crescent Bank looking for the person who had my number over a year ago.  I hope she gets away with not paying them!

I see that this is Crescent Bank from everyone else's posts. I did have a car loan through them. When I got hit from behind my car was a total loss. It was my understanding that the insurance company had paid this off. All of a sudden 3 years later it has shown up on my credit report and they are calling constantly. They say that insurance was almost $200 short but why are they just now contacting me?

Got voice message from 504-334-8901,  “Hello. This message is intended for ...[name].  My name is Trina. Please return my call. 1-866-893-6004. Thank you.”

The call back number (1-866-893-6004) has numerous harassment/scam/debt collection reports. Supect the VoiP number 504-334-8901 is now part of the harrassment debt collection package.
