Called saying they wanted to collect debt even though I have none.

I had the exact same situation. I have no debt and they didn’t even know who they were calling for.

Called with a local caller ID number showing (my carrier marked it as potential spam) - left a message that the call was from a debt collector and to call them back at 866-893-9934 (company name was not clear). If they are legit they should not be masking their caller ID number to a local(ish) phone number. did not call back.

They called and a lady left a message saying that it's a debt collector and to call them back.  I have no debt under my name so I'm not calling them back.

After months of robocalls, the woman left this number and her name. I bravely called her back. She asked for my phone number and name and I provided it. It's my cell phone. She said I was not in the database and she would mark me as a Wrong Number and take me off the list. I hope it works.

Received a message from person name Mark Bosch stating from Portfolio debt collector and to give him a call back. First of all I have no debt and will not be calling anyone back. If it was legit my name should of been mentioned when you left a message.

Same as above. The number listed in the Caller ID is 701 495 7370. Left message to call this number back. I won't bother as I don't have any debts in collection.

Left message re debt collection.  I have none.  I called back.  Rep couldn't tell me what kind of businesses hired them..  Asked for info I would not provide.  Rep said she was in VA.  Said they have a website.  Indicated they will call me again.  So far they have not.  Since I have no debt suspect a scam.

Same as above. The number on my caller ID was0215-282-9925. Did not call back. Also the message was very hard to understand except for the phone #.

Got a voicemail from a person named Sherry. Very difficult to understand them because they were mumbling. I won’t call back because I have no debt.

Left message. Mumbling man named Brandon talking fast. Called back and lady said no record under my name and would remove me from their call list.

Just got the same message from a debt collector named Kendra requesting that I call 866-893-9934.  As other's have posted, she did not ask for anyone specifically by name.  Caller ID reflect call was actually made from 432-400-0813.
