I get a phone call from this company, which I don't know what there name is. I do know that they are a collection agency. When I don't know what the number is or who it is. I don't pick up.

We have been receiving calls from this phone number, 866-896-5257, for weeks.  I finally got fed up and called them.  They were looking for someone other than me and my husband.  The woman was very accomodating and said it would take about one day, but they would make sure we receive no further calls from them.  That's all I ask.

My home phone gets a call from a Steve Washington asking for someone who does not live here. He asked me to call him back at 866-896-5257 Ext 4165..

I KEEP GETTING THIS CALL FROM THESE PEOPLE AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE PERSON THEY WANT.  NEXT CALL WILL BE RECORDED AND I WILL CONTACT NY ATTORNEY GENERAL.

these people bug me everyday.  I didnt know who they are until I read these posts, I dont answer the phone to numbers I dont recognize.......the calls start around 8;15 a.m everyday and continue thru out the day.    You would think after so many days, they would take the hint, and stop calling.....I just turn the volumn down on the house phone......We all have cell phones, No need to answer the house phone...If its anyone we know or want to hear from, they call our cell phones......

Why don't you try telling that to the people that are actually calling you, rather than on an anonymous website?

Called mutliple times. I finally answer..and they ask for two people who did not work here. Call concluded.

Has called twice in last 2 days.  I let answering machine answer.  Says he is collecting a debt.  I have no unpaid debts and not even late payments.  I am a senior citizen and live alone.  He does not say who the call is supposedly for or who the debtor is, just call back.  As if!

The number comes up on my phone as China.  Be careful don't call back you may get one of those crazy charges to your phone bill !

This is a toll-free number so no, calling it back won't result in "one of those crazy charges to your phone bill!"
Oh, and you only needed to reply to one post to get your message across. Three times is just redundant.

I think your phone must be possessed.  This number belongs to a debt collector, possibly Creditor's Interchange.  Considering how long 800 numbers have been in existence, I find it extremely hard to believe that people like you have no idea how they work.
