Scam artist trying to collect a fake debt. Don't answer and don't fall for the scam.

Hang up calls and robo message

Called and said there was a complaint filed against me and I needed to respond because it was being filed to the courthouse. Robot voice.

The guy states there has been a formal complaint filed against...Some garbled computer name stating that you need to contact them about the whereabouts of the person and then states the next step is a warrant. Threatening and intimidation over the phone is against the law. Report this to your state police and call the attorney generals office.

Got two identical calls - one on my cell phone and one at my work number. I did not answer. Caller left robot message with my name inserted - saying they were looking for me and next step was going to get court papers. No company name, no other info. These bottom feeders need to be stopped.

Called yesterday and today and left an obviously fake sounding voicemail about a complaint being filed and threat of court proceedings (the message left today was exactly the same and I mean same voice same robotic reading of my name...obviously pre-recorded).  I have no debt and know this is a scam, however, in an annoying twist they all called the homes of my parents and brother. I checked online and this seems to be fairly common for this scam. Now I just have to let my entire family know that I'm financially fine and it is fake. Ugh!   I did file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission but don't know how much they will be able to do as all I have is a phone number since the caller's name and supposed company are never given.

Got the same vm left by the exact same recording I got 2 days ago. The name the computer voice tries to read off isnt even close to my name and is inconvenient. Scam

Keep receiving calls for my husband on my cell, my parents' home and my sisters.  The last time I actually spoke to one of these idiots, it was for a car loan that has been paid off for almost 4 years.  I keep reporting but nothing is happening!

They left a message today stating they need to know my whereabouts and threatening legal action. When I called back, they claim to be collecting an "online payday loan from Alliance Payday Loans" that I supposedly took out in 2012. They had all of my personal information including the last 4 of my social. When I told her that I've never had a payday loan she said she "had to record this last part of the call" and tried her hardest to get me to acknowledge the debt and that I will be taken to court since I refused to pay or set up a payment arrangement during the call. I filed a complaint with the FTC, but beware until they are stopped!!

Got robo call from scammer.

Husband just got message on cell phone saying that they had a complaint about me and to call them to tell them my whereabouts so they can file the paperwork at the courthouse. Definitely a scam but concerned how they got the information.

Likely from public records. Even if they have your name, ignore this PHONY debt collector.

This company is not legitimate, do not give them any information at all.

More scare tactic type calls from scammers.  Robotic pre-recorded message asking for a relatives whearabouts. Threatening courts and warrants etc.  SCAM!

Received a robo call at my business regarding an employee.  Called the number and stated that this is a business and requested for no more phone calls at this business.  When I asked what the name of the business was, she hung up.  Contacted the Federal Trade Commission and spoke to a personal friend of mine.  These people are rude and unprofessional.

I just received a phone call from them they had my old address from when I was like 18 a bank I used to use and the call my sister's number. I'm not sure what to do they said it old money and when I asked for like more information when the debt was made stuff like that they couldn't give me that information and then the last ending of the call they said they were recording it she was very rude and obnoxious help is this real or not
