That number is listed on a SCAM letter from Travel Union (Google that name). The letter is supposedly a check for $ 1,229.00. Except, it's not a check (plainly printed on the back of the "check." And it is also payable to "US Airlines" on your behalf. Of course, you are to be forgiven in thinking that "US Airlines" is the name of an actual airline, perhaps "US Airways?" Nope, they are actually saying they will pay a US airline. So why did they capitalize "airlines?" Because it's a SCAM! ;-)
