- ConcernedYes, this number also came through as a voice mail. I thought that my phone was malfunctioning, until I read the post below. I was unaware that a voice message could be left without the phone ever ringing. Thanks for the info on this number, it has helped me out tremendously. They just said that this call is from a debt collector. No other name was left.

- There is no Hector hereCalled with a message saying this is AR resources & to call the number 9511 number back. It could be a scam. Because First off I have no debt. I have had identity fraud. And over the last year or two have been getting a call from some hospital in N.Florida wanting to speak with some Spanish named guy that goes by Hector. I talked to them more than once & told them they had been given the wrong phone number. And to stop calling. They continue to call once or twice a month. And they wouldn’t give me any information about what they were calling about because i’m Not him “Hector”. And I never received anything about any debt in My mail etc. So I honestly think someone just got the phone number wrong on the paper work so you would think after telling them this they would stop calling my number. But no they are now calling using so called AR resources recordings giving no reason as to why or who they are calling for or about. So no I won’t be calling the 9511 number back & they can stop calling my number or they will be blocked. Because I don’t have any debt to anyone & I don’t know anyone that does. So stop calling & go chase the other leads you may have because my phone number etc. is a dead end. But from other info i’ve Looked up on this number it could be a scam or fraud etc.

- TammyI keep receiving calls from this number with no message. I tried calling them back 4 times. I got through once and they immediately hung up. The second time I got a voice mail. The third time I got voice mail. The fourth time I just got disconnected - or hung up on. Definitely a scam. I do not have any debt or collections.

- MS| 1 replyCall went straight to voicemail. I called them back and they asked for all kind of information. They asked for my DOB, SSN, and mailing address. I refused to give them my SSN or DOB. I know that I have no outstanding debt so I asked for the creditors name so I could contact them about the issue and was told they would not give me that information unless I gave them all the other information. This has to be a scam so beware!!!

- BigA replies to MSThat is not how it works. Since they talked to you they have to do the following:
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.
List of State AG’s offices: https://800notes.com/faq/attorney-general - OleviaCalled but phone didn't ring went instead straight to voicemail. Said do not delete or hang up until to have number and call us back. This is a attempt to collect a debt. Never said what debt was and who it was for!

- BillE| 1 replySame as others. I called back and spoke with an agent. Apparently the person that had this phone number before me had many debts. This is not the first debt recovery company to call me. The agent gave me the name of this person and it was the same as the other callers. I explained that this number is new to me. He said he would update their records. Seems totally legitimate.
- Caller: A R Debt recovery
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to BillE"Seems totally legitimate" Except that this is a known criminal enterprise pretending to be a debt collector. You do not have personal knowledge that anyone owes debts, you are simply making assumptions based on a few phone calls which proves nothing. Many people have their names thrown in to portfolios which are sold and bought by criminals like this. They owe nothing yet their name and information was put on their erroneously. Also, many of these so called debt collectors simply call phones that they think are associated with the alleged debtor.
- MattNo name on caller ID, just the phone number. When I answered, whoever was at the other end spoke with a very heavy Indian or Pakistani accent and was difficult to understand. Hung up and blocked their number, whoever they were.
