If every person who takes the time to post on lists like this would go to https://www.donotcall.gov/ , add their phone to the 'do not call list' and then file a complaint every time they get a call perhaps the gov would do more to these telemarketing creeps.

I've had it with this company.  They call several times a week, and I have told them at least six times in the past year that I would NOT pay ANY additional fee to reinstate the package that expired in 2009, and to remove my number from their DNC list.  They have failed to honor my request every single time; and today the guy was so rude, I actually considered pursuing legal action against the company.  He flat-out REFUSED to remove my number, even after I informed him that calling me was a direct violation of the FTC's DNC list; then he insisted that they ARE allowed to call me because I've purchased a package from them.  Number one, he is partially correct in that they can contact me if I have done business with them; but ONLY within eighteen months of that transaction, not at ANY TIME they da** well feel like it.  Number two, his refusal to remove my number from their list is ANOTHER violation of the DNC rules.  

Because of how rude and ignorant the bonehead was, I chose to do two things.  One, I filed a complaint with the FTC, explaining the details of today's conversation.  Two, I emailed the below message to eTour and Travel.  I can and WILL take a third step if they refuse to comply; I will start seeking legal help to file a lawsuit.  Money-hungry jackholes - don't EVER deal with them!

My email to eTour and Travel:

"CEASE AND DESIST IMMEDIATELY.  Your company calls me several times a week, and today I called the number back to inform the sales rep that I was NOT interested in renewing my expired vacation package for ANY fee, and to remove my number from the call list as your company is in direct violation of FTC laws.  He rudely REFUSED to remove my number, and insisted that the company is NOT in violation since I've bought a package from them.  The truth is, since our business relationship CEASED TO EXIST over 18 months ago, you ARE IN FACT IN VIOLATION and I have just filed a formal complaint with the FTC (and his refusal was ANOTHER violation of FTC laws).  Don't make me contact an attorney.  Remove my number NOW.  I have graciously provided my email address above, and am permitting you to contact me ONCE to advise me when my number is removed.  Should I fail to see an email indicating removal of the number within the next 72 hours, I will be pursuing legal action.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter."

They were calling several times a day, day and evening. I got a person finally when I called the number. They were selling Orlando travel packs for the cost of one night you got to fly to Orlando blah, blah, blah. I said no thanks. They wouldn't take that, so I said don't call this number or I will report you and follow it up. He still tried to sell me, so I just hung up. We'll see what happens. I sympathize with everyone here. It's a pain for sure.

This number has been calling constantly.  I want it to shop.  I am registered on the Canadian do not call list.

They keep phoning my cell phone first and then my home phone, they do it in the morning hours PST, and in the dinner time hours PST.  We never answer, they never leave a message.  They have been phoning for over the past three weeks now, almost daily.  Both our numbers are on the DNC list.  Our caller ID on both phones only shows their phone number, never a name.

Getting calls from 866 897 2756  several times  during two days.  I never answer  since  this
weekend  two of my charge cards were used in fraud.   The other #315-724-4022 if you return
the call an oversea operator will come on.

I have reported both numbers  but looking at the dates on some of these complaints nothing being done!   So angrey!!!!

Today is Thu., 31 May 2012.  They keep phoning my cell phone, have done so six times since posting back on 13 April 2012.  Just now at 3:58pm PST the sixth call came in, I just let the cell phone ring and ring, they left on message.  Now just waiting to see if they call on the home phone, since I am just sitting here writing some emails.  I think I will answer it if they do, and see what happens this time.  

Hello BAM, sorry they are calling you also, I also noted how old some of the prior reports have been.  Who did you make your reports to?  If you don't mind letting me know, I do not know who to file a report with?  As I posted before, I am on the DNC list, but I do not find any place or way to file a report with them.  Let me know if I am missing something, like a web site for reports or a different phone number for reports, etc.  Thank you in advance if you do answer back.  My spouse and I are just totally feed up with them!!!

You can sue these people in Small Claims Court. I found out a lot of people started doing this and winning. The fine is $500 per incident and additional fines if you ask the telemarketer for a copy of their Do Not Call policy and never get it.

Just Google "sue telemarketers". It is pretty straight forward and people are winning nice sums of money. Also, the satisfaction of making these telemarketers pay is great!

Some tour package company for trips to Florida.

Received a phone call....numerous ones before this one.  A lady started telling me how she could help me pay for the trip by cutting my payments into small ones.  I was reluctant but I said ok.  She said she needed my card number to verify.  I gave it to her like a big dummy.  She ran my card for $89.00.  I went balistic, I never authorized her to run my card for the payment only to check to see how little the payments would be.  She transferred me to a guy named Terry who was very rude and eventually hung up on me.  I called back and talked to someone in customer service who said they would get my money back to me but would take anywhere between 2 to 7 days.  I asked for the CEO's name and number but she refused saying it was a privacy matter.  I repeated asking until I finally gave up and gave her my card number again so she could return my $89.00.  I sincerely hope they do...Single mom here and $89.00 out of my budget is a lot of money.  I see they have over 300 complaints against them.  How can they keep ripping people off.

How many people fall for this? The perps for these calls are insidious swamp-bottom dwellers.

This number calls Monday through Friday  at 8 am, Promptly at 8 am. I never get a reply when I answer. I am on the DNC list, and have been for years. They are starting to annoy.

Just more low-lifes trying to take your money...Every dog has there day!

I get constant call from this number and want it to stop!

Now that you've practiced your no-call request here, deliver it to the actual caller, which does not maintain this site or this web page.

You're a douche - clearly she was just venting!

Above the comments we are told that "to help identify" mystery callers is the primary goal of this site. "Clearly" useless emotional outbursts do not meet that goal. The complainer blasted in here from a search engine hit and did not bother to comprehend this. If we allow such misuse of the site to run unchecked, more people will imitate that behavior until the thread is full of foolish "stop calling" demands, which ultimately will not ever be seen or obeyed by any caller.
