Just mentioning so that Google might pick this up. When the first called me I searched with the proper spelling and found nothing useful.

They called for my husband and the message said that they had a great offer for him!! when I called back requesting to know the nature of their call I was told it was none of my business. I asked them to not call back and was told/Yelled at they'd continue to call until my "dead beat husband returned their call I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told No repeatedly and continued to be yelled at. Finally a supervisor by the Name of Dave Cochrane came on the phone and immediately yelled at me for wasting their time. I contacted The canadian government about this company @ 1- 800-889-9768 andwas given the OPerator/managers contactnumber 1-519-432-0075 ext 2625 Her name is Suzanne LeRoache. SHe was not available when I called a few minutes ago but I will call again. The government said to contact her and if still not able to resolve issue I can file a report with the Government. This is an extremely rude bunch of individuals. Their Proper leagal name is Active Capital Contingency Inc. They also go by Active Capital aquisitions canada Inc. and Active Capital Caoital Canada, They Have an address in London Ontari 1001-130 Dufferin Avenue East London Ontario N6A 5R2  This address was given by Manager Dave Cochrane.

These people have been calling our home in the last 2 weeks and will not let up even after telling them we are not responding to their calls. The agent I spoke to said it was an urgent matter but would not tell me (John' s wife)U what it was about. He said they would keep calling until we responded .

i have had messages left at my parents phone number,looking for myself.some woman named lena. from the phone number above.she left a reference # and an extension #.i return the call asking her not to harass my parents anymore.we'll see!!but i still remain uncertain of the reason Lena is looking for me.

I too  got  a call and  I answered it and when i  enquired  as to  who they  were  and  why  calling  they  would not  tell me they said  they  were  active  capital  calling and that  lindie  was  to have  called them  back  and  was  I her  so i  said  no  ..   who  do u  work  for  I  asked and they  would not  tell  meand  gave me  this  number to  call  back     very  rude  ...

Very rude. They call at all hours of the day or night, and several times per day. There's nobody at this number that they're looking for, but they won't accept that. Found out the company e-mail address is info@aktivkapital.ca

Does anyone know Shawn's last name?

I have been getting calls from this number for 2 weeks, and I told them that I did not sign for an account with Canadian Tire. They have said that all the information is right about me. The problem is that I lost my Health Card which had that information on it. Anyone could have opened an account with that information.. I feel that I do not owe that money.

I checked this company's profile in Government's site and see if they are Licensed, the report showed Non.

Please do not answer them and check government's site for information on collection agency and how you can complain about these people. Ask Bell to block their number. Please do not feel you are obligated to listen to these people. check the web site Government, it will help you. Check the video and many useful information for consumers like you and me.
They are not allowed to call you. By Law.
