I've been getting calls from these (censored) and as soon as I ask who or what company is calling, they can't hang up fast enough. Having had enough, I played along enticing them with a huge credit card debt figure and got them to call me back a few times only these times they either left their number, (209-390-8158, 800-266-9085) on my answering machine. This was after I had done a *66 and got the 866-908-1432 number. They go by National Debt Bureau, Debt Solutions, and other names. I've talked to, or have gotten voice mail from Chris, Charles, Austen, and Dan Parker - ALL THE SAME, (Indian accented) PERSON. I am trying to get their business address so I can report those [***] and get them shut down.

I googled the number you posted 209-390-8158 all the results say this is an outsourcing agent who actually IS in India, his name is Tarun Gupta and he does debt collection for US, UK and other accounts.

Also, the 1-866-908-1432 he dials under (meaning the number you get on your caller ID ), I believe is spoofed (fake) and takes you to the wrong place anyway.

Have fun calling India on this, wish they found a way to make it illegal for them to call or to do this kind of thing, seeing as to how these outsourced debt people are incredibly unprofessional and seem like fakes, frauds.

These folks are connected with Impressive Leads and DebtCareUSA -- the latter is in Stockton, CA.

I just got a call from them he said that the number I dialed was web site number and that nobody calls from this number

He called my cell phone and I had already submitted my # to the unwanted ( do not call list) he kept saing my name and I did not answer him and he hung up. Then I received a call to my home phone # from this same # and I did not answer it.

Yet another call from Jim Helm @ Debt Care USA in Stockton, CA. Wonder if they really have an internal DNC list to prevent these calls?

No message. These people keep calling me, and they say it's not their number, that theirs is an in-coming call number only.

they keep calling me and when I pick up there is nobody there.  so who are they?  Debt collectors or wanting to "HELP" (sure they do) with your debts.  I am so over these stupid numbers calling me.  I have to turn my cellular off at work b/c they call and call

The caller on 866-908-1432 is Tarun Gupta located in India, that's right, he and other bottom feeder debt collectors are in foreign countries and 'do not care' about "Do Not Call" lists .
WATS number 866-908-1432 translates to 209-390-8158 a foreign exchange answering number in Stockton, CA.  Tarun buys up charged off dead old debts to give it one more try. When he becomes a mad dog yelling and swearing it is time to send him an email message to Tarun@transfermyleads.com   ordering him to "Cease and Desist" to not call you or your employer again.  Remember that Debt collectors get paid a commission only when you pay them. They usually will not take the time to send you a "Verification of Debt" from the original creditor since the debt has been written off. This generally stops them from contacting you and they close their file.
Some bottom feeders like the disbarred lawyer Marty Brachfeld and his nasty daughter Erica Lynn Brachfeld-Shubin file hundreds of sloppy court papers and hope that you will finally send money to them. A good local attorney can always beat them and close the case.
If you feel that it is time to spend your lottery winnings on an old debt, pay only the original creditor listed in the "Verification of Debt" letter, not the collection agency.
To stop harassing phone calls, buy an answering machine with "call blocking". I use a Magic Jack with Magic Features on an old laptop to block calls. If you are not interested in technical stuff, call your local phone company to add "call blocking" to your phone line.

this number has been calling me sporadically for over a year and a half now, asking for some guy named marvin woodard. the calls started about 3 months after i opened a cell phone account with t mobile, must have inherited the number from some dead beat. i tell them i am not marvin, and then they start talking down to me like i'm lying to them. STOP CALLING ME!

Got a call from this number 866-908-1432 but I didn't answer.  No message was left.

Second call of the day.  Again, no message left.

Third call today.  Again, no message left.

Second call of the day, four total and no messages.  If only my "new" phone would have a feature to block these calls....

Tarun Gupta aka Mike Jones sells debt settlement programs - he is not a debt collector.

debt care usa is a scam and a rip off stolen money from my son in law and has not fixed his credit. DO NOT USE THE COMPANY EVER. A MAJOR SCAM. He is trying to get all of this fixed but probably wont. Sorry worthless company.
