this number calls me a lot with a voice recorded message, "HELLO, Hello, call me back at 1-866-908-9010 and when I called it with *67 I got another voice mail asking me to enter my account info? what account info? who is this?

Suddenly getting calls from this # to my cell saying I need to call about "Important Personal Business" -  Baloney.. if it was important, they would state who they are and what the business is.

I randomly started getting calls from the same number and when I Google it one of the associated listings comes up for a company named "Rickenbacker Group" - Collection Agency.

Although, when I check out the company's website I can't find that number listed...

They are a slimball company called Rickenbacker.They go and find old accounts where cars have been
towed 4or 5 years ago and they try to get money.They called me, asking for someone I don't even know.
I told them I didn't know the person they were asking for,yet they continue to call.SLIMBALL BUMS...

I got their call, they called for two years before I replied.
They said I owed $2800 for towing and yard fees from 2001, for a car I never had.
They told me some chick had her car towed, couldn't pay the fees and signed it over to me. I know nothing about this. So after fighting with me over the phone, I said I was calling the Feds and the calls stopped. No call from them for about a year and now 10-25-10 they are calling trying to collect on something else.
Oh and what I forgot to mention was the license number on the car I owed money on, actually belongs to the Rickenbacker Co., some piece of crap Toyota Corolla. If it happens to you contact your local law enforcement and talk to the fraud investigator.

I'm now getting calls from Rickenbacker looking for someone named "David Corey."  The recorded message says "This is a private message for David Corey.  This is a personal message.  If you continue to listen, we will assume this to be a confirmation that you have identified yourself as David Corey... blah, blah, blah..."  Despite the fact that I hang up at this point each time, they continue to call.  First time they started calling me, years ago, they harassed me about a car that had nothing whatsoever to do with me, now they hassle me about another person altogether?  When is the Attorney General of the State of California going to reel these guys in, once and for all?  Once you get in these guys line of sight, it doesn't seem to matter to them that they have the wrong person.  I guess to get paid all they have to do is to show activity on their accounts, and it seems as if any ole activity will do.  Gee, seems as if there ought to be laws against this sort of thing... But wait...  Oh, yah... there are, for all the good that seems to matter.

I do not even know any gosh darned David Corey!

We sold a truck 6 years ago: and we have the stamped release of liablity in calif. the man who bought it had the car towed a year later and never paid the tow and storage he did not transfer title. we sent the tow company all the paperwork they requested: and they said not to worry they were going to sale it in a lien sale we have the paperwork. for that to...and at the time of the sale they would transfer title:now 5 years later we get a letter from Rickenbacker Group saying we owe money on this past bill? I pay my bills....this is fraud. and from reading all the reviews on this company for this phone number+ how are they able to keep this up ? they have been calling us up to 3 times a day for about 3 months now...when we asked for the truck vin number they gave us the wrong number we know that because we sent the number in the the ca. dmv and they said there is no info on that id number????? are the tow companies in on this scam too?  They always tell us they are going to Record this phone call and we tell them that we too want to record the phone call: and they get upset and tell us that is no way permitted and if you are we have to hang up? and they always hang up...

I have also recieved a call from this number too. Saying that they have conflicting information that needs to be discussed. I know I don't owe anybody for anything. They keep calling my cellphone with an automated message using my name. Trying to day that they are DEA. And I know better. I got called today twice back to back.

This a collection agency.

I have my sister's cell number by simply hitting a number 8.  However, the other day I called her and got a bar instead.  How can that happen when the number of the bar and my sister's numbers are way off.

This is freaking us out.  When I called the number again, I got a fax machine .  Why after all of these years of calling my sister, a bar answers, with two completely different cell numbers
