I Don't Know How To Stop Them
I get the calls from two different #'s one identifies itself on the caller ID ... the other one if from 866-910-2605.  They are for two different people.  You can't talk to a person it's automated - asks if you are so & so if yes press 1 ... if not presss 2 etc., there is no real person to talk too.

Just rec'd a call from 866-910-2605 telling they want to collect an old debt.  After seeing MiraMed printed, I believe they used that name but it was difficult to understand.  It was on my answering machine.  I do not understand.

We received a voice mail saying we needed to call this number back and ask for Tiffany. It is a scam. This happened last year also.

Hey did you ever think that not everybody is a dead beat and maybe have legitimate problems. Did you ever hear of people losing their jobs or income through no fault of their own. You need to know the story before you say everyone should be sued.

They just called me.  I only owe on one bill and I just paid half of that bill off within the last week.  So no reason for them to be calling me especially when they can't even get my last name right.  Other then that no outstanding bills.

I get phone calls from this number every day, but they have several different numbers that they call from. They keep asking to speak to someone else, and no matter how many times I tell them to stop calling me, and that no one by that name lives here, they just keep on calling. I'm reporting them to the FTC for harassment.

They are harassing me over around $100 medical bills... funny, I proved to them that I have been paying the hospital every 2 weeks, but they'd like for me to send them my payments from now on... sigh.

These people keep calling over bills that ARE paid.  Why should we pay bills multiple times?  Maybe if you weren't one of their bill collectors phone soliciters you'd have the common sense to realize what's going on.

The problem is that hospitals know they have a license to steal.  They will tell you for an elective surgery that the bill will be $14,000.  So you decide to do it.  Then they charge you $22,000.  "Oh, sorry about that.  We forgot to mention some things."  So now you are on the hook for 8 grand you didn't plan for and likely wouldn't have bit on the elective surgery had you known that would be the cost.   Are you going to make a deal on a car and then write the check at the closing table for $8,000 more than you bargained for?  Heck no.  These doctors and hospital administrators are just plain theives.

    Anony
Recieved an Unknown call, followed by a call from this number. I just got this number a month ago. I answered and heard nothing. An unknown number called me again but did not answer or leave a message. I called this number back, they answered "Miramed...." i gave him my name, he said i wasnt in the system, and since they havent left a reference number , theres no way to remove my number, he said perhaps it was another company that called me. So apparently multiple companies use this number to harass people???

If they call again im going to send a cease and desist letter.

It sounds like a collection agency for Medical Bills which i wouldnt owe anything to becuase i havent been to a hospital since i was born.

They can't even get how much I supposedly owe according to them straight.  One time they said I only owed $90, another time they said I owed $45, next time they said I owed $19 and now they are saying I owe $26.  Get this that bill was paid off back in July and it was from a medical office that I refuse to go to ever again because they don't bill you or even want you to pay at the time of the visit....they'd rather send it to a collection agency because the first time I heard from Miramed was only a month or so after the first visit.   Who runs a medical office where the client can't pay when services are rendered?

I AM NOT HAPPY replies to nunyabuis
I paid off my $350,000 medical bills after I was almost killed by an inexperience surgeon and had to stay hospitalized 5 extra weeks and experience 4 more surgeries to correct the first.  That was over a year ago and I still get these calls.  Just because you get the recordings that can't pronounce your name doesn't mean you owe them money.

Not everybody is a deadbeat getting goods and services they don't want to pay for!  Last year I underwent cancer surgery.  It was less than one year after I had gone back to work after being unemployed for almost a year.  Insurance paid most hospital charges, but the decuctible part that was mine was high.  Unemployed for almost a year, lower paying job, medical expenses....I paid what I could.  Then I got notice that my house was in forclosure, so my priorities shifted to saving my house.  The greed of corporate Americal is to blame for the financial mess we are in - the housing market was actually structued to entice deadbeats to buy more than they could pay for, and the lenders knew it!  They just wanted the quick profit, and to regain the house when the deadbeats could pay the mortgage, because it was too much for them to even start with.  You are small-minded, and a jerk.  Merry Christmas.

My @$$ this is a medical collection company.. I have not had any major medical bills in 30 years and they call me 3 times a day... They never answer questions and their typical response is to drop the connection.

You know what that is a very rude response.  Some of us are not fortunate enough to be provided with insurance, despite our full time position at our jobs.  Do you not understand that its an ER visit which means clearly it was an emergancy?  You act like every one is a dead bet and doesn't want to pay their bills.  Do you understand that some people lost their jobs or lost their insurance.  Give people a break...you havn't lived in their shoes...how dare you judge them!!
