Anyone have info on who is using this number?  They called looking for a member of my family.  Left a nasty little message about having a "warrant" for this person and were either coming to their house or place of work if they did not respond to the "firm".     However, they do not give a company name.  I have also received this same message and the caller ID just says "Private".   Sounds like a collection agency using some illegal practices but I need to know "who" so they can be reported.

we had the same thing for a family member i called and blocked my # asked them the name of the company they say its a BOR Firm ??? won't tell you anything else unless you give them a claim # although they leave random messages on peoples answering machines when they are not even sure if they have the correct contact info ... i'm thinking they need to be reported to the attorney generals office for harrassment

I have received three or four phone calls, that all show up Private and do not give the name of the company they work for, just "you have such and such time to contact the complany that hired this firm".  How exactly am I supposed to contact this "company" that hired their firm, if I have no clue what "Ann Miller" is talking about on this message?  I find the fact that they feel the need to be so secretive a bit on the shady side.  Just says that they have contact information for me to "deliver a claim" to my house or my place of employment.  This has been going on for a week or more, and I have yet to receive anything from anyone.  Just keeps saying to call the 866-914-9578.

I have tried checking this number online to see who it belongs to, and it is coming up as belonging to the American side of a group called American Friends of the Jordan River Village, and when you click their webpage, it re-directs you to  http://www.jordanrivervillage.org/, which says that it is a place in the Middle East where seriously ill children can just be kids.  I am very leary of these phone calls.  I will not take the chance of calling these people and them using that as a way to get to my personal information.

Itoo have been getting these phone calls from a Private Number.  They are contacting someone that I don't even know when I call the number to advise them that they are calling the wrong number they tell me that they will be coming to my work to give me papers to a person that I don't even know.  I finally told them please come to my home or work if you have the address and I will have the police here so that I can get it resolved.  They then advised me that I would be arrested if I did that.  ALL FOR SOMEONE THAT I DO NOT KNOW.  These people are idiots.  If they had an address or anything else they would have done it already and if it was a legal matter it would come certified mail to someone's home not a place of business.  I contacted my local police with the names and the number given and filed a harrasement charge so we shall see what happens now.

I received a text message from this company which included the first initial of my first name, my last name and the last 4 # of my ss# saying to "comply with close case (no case # provided) if no response a bench warrant will be issued immediately". First of all no actual attorney would contact a defendant in any case via text and secondly "close" case?? If their was proper grammar and any actual information other than what can be pulled from the Internet if be worried. Right now I'm just aggravated. Need this to stop

Just received 2 calls in row with an "Uknown ID"  showing on my cell phone. The man left a message for a name I didn't even recognize saying he was a "senior counsel" with "Capital Consultants" and his name was Christopher Hawthorne (? unsure of last name spelling), saying it was regarding a legal matter of which the person he named was a main and sole litigant and would like to discuss "outside settlement" or have the person he was looking for or her representative make a statement to his office. Then stating he wanted to call before calling the local District Attorney.
He called with the same message within 1 minute of each other.

THESE CALLS NEED TO STOP! IT IS HARASSMENT and I have reported calls like this before and a government agency needs to step in and find out where these are coming from!

Yeah, BS number. They keep calling my parent's house saying I owe money due to a loan default. I haven't lived at my parent's for 20 years. Best thing to do is either ignore them, or if you want to have some fun, go along with their nonsense and feed them a bunch of garbage info for their trouble!

They break so many rules allowed by fair credit laws.   First don't ramble on about how you aren't sure if this is the right number but leave a personal message anyway with my information on it.  Then proceed to tell the voicemail to forward the message if they know me?  My address shows up on any of the three credit bureau reports, please feel to mail me your complaint or debt information and I will look into it, as is my rights my fair crediting laws otherwise if you have a court summons I know they send it through registered mail. So  go ahead  show up at my address you clearly don't have or you would mail me information as requested and my 9mm and the local police will be waiting.
I get these a few times a  year and have repeatedly asked for proof to be mailed to me.... they keep selling a debt and no one can tell me what the original debt was to even look up.

A woman saying she was contacting me for the client "terry" was harassing me asking if I know terry and he put my number down and I kept saying I had no idea who terry was. Probably a scam.

These idiots have also contacted me today.  They left messages on my cell and work phone.  Same garbage as above.  All calls were recorded as well as the call I made back to them.  Requested validation and informed that no calls to employment.  They have violated many regulations.  I will pursue as I have with other bottom feeders.  Contact consumer law attorney with recorded proof and make them pay.  Attorneys will pursue as it is a profit for them as well.

These jerks have made several of these calls for my husband who is disabled and lives on very little social security. They have threatened to sue him and garnish his social security. I told them go ahead and sue all you want and hung up on them!

Got a voicemail from a "Kelly Murphy" saying the county I lived in would be pressing criminal and civil charges unless I called them back immediately. They left a "case number". Very shady company... I figured it was a bill collector breaking a lot of laws. I tried to call back to tell them this, but got no answer. The name they gave was Magliachi (sp?) and associates.

I've been getting the same call for weeks.  Dummy over here decided to call back today and ask for "Kelly Murphy".  I was transferred and before I could get a word out she had my phone number (obviously), a case number and the last 4 digits of my SSN.  She asked me to verify the information and I immediately requested something in writing on their company letterhead validating a debt or lawsuit.  She dodged that and went right into the "Criminal and Civil charges are currently being pursued against you in your County and your case is in litigation".  I politely explained that if a Criminal or Civil suit was in litigation, I think I'd be notified by Law Enforcement and not a fake company with 100's of complaints on the internet.  This is when she got really mad and said that I'd end up in jail if I didn't continue the conversation.  I politely asked one more time for something in writing to validate their company and whatever charges were being pursued.  She followed with a screaming, "Then I guess we have nothing more to speak about!" and hung up.  I called the FTC and filed a complaint knowing that they really can't control these scammers but I really just wanted to know if this "Migliacci" (sp?) & Associates was a common complaint for them.  The rep I spoke with said they get so many complaints that he couldn't confirm if he's ever heard of these people or not.  He told me never to call them back again because they're just looking to scam money.

I keep getting these calls also, they say it is collections from an online loan company(which I did use three years ago). The company was bottom dollar payday loans. They took over 3000.00 out of my account over the course of four months, they would only ever take the minimum amount on the loan and would never take the entire amount as I was asking. After four months of frustration and 3000 dollars later, I shut the account down. That was three years ago, and now I am getting calls from this place. At first I was worried because they keep threatening me with legal action, but I never have received any written documentation to back up their claims and they are using a last name I haven't used in more than 12 years, and an address that I haven't used in even longer. I asked them why they have such outdated information when I gave the loan company my current information, and that had them double talking trying to explain....waste of time.....

Keep getting this saying they are going to proceed with a cats filled aginst me I don't know the name of the company but I am tired of these threats

Someone called and told me that I owed money that I never borrowed. They said if I did not pay that they would sue me.
