The worst alarm company I have ever dealt with. Lots of scams and extra charges for services. The system is always failing and the customer service people extremely rude. Buyer beware.

They call constantly.We notified them in April that the alarm WAS NOT working and they said they would take care of it. Nothing happened still alarm is not working and they are calling for money.This is a service contract and I will not pay anyone for services not rendered.

They conned my elderly father into getting a contract. They are trying to get money from us for services to a home we no longer own.

Mine also. they conned me and my husband into taking over our current contract and said they would match the it. they lied I signed a new 4 year contract and i no longer live in the home and they still want me to pay for the service.

My contract with Monotronics expired two years ago.  They are still trying to bill me.  An attorney is not far off.  

This is driving me crazy!!! They call me from so many different numbers. Just spoke with them last week told them to stop calling. They still call and do not leave messages.

I have had it!!!! Please do not use "Monitronics"!!!!!! I no longer have a contract been over. I will notify my congressman & lawyer if this continues.

AGREE this Monitronics SUXS. The points of entry they give anyone can easily break in yet stuck with a three year contract. Pay months ahead at a time and always money orders and still get double billed and late fees. Different parties involved with this company. DO NOT SIGN UP!! Better Business Bureau to be contacted., I have their sign and a Bigger sign next to it saying DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. On weekends I have open house and show people how bad it is!

Do not call

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

A real rip-off company. My wife terminated their services months ago, paying them twice, yet they still call asking for money. Buyer beware.

My alarm quit working in Nov 2013, just recently stopped payment, and man they call all the time.  My lawyer looked at contract and they broke it by not servicing it to working condition.  I need to sue them for moneies going back to 2013.  Need to call Better Business!

I keep getting calls from the company and I DO NOT know them have never dealt with them and do not have an alarm system through them!!  VERY irritating have blocked the number and they call from another number.

We had a break in at our home and the patrol officer showed up an hour later. We made to the scene before they did and we told them how disappointing this was and that we would not pay for this call out. Monitronics is now calling because the patrol officer came to the scene after we did. I am in the process of getting a different alarm monitoring service.

Alls I can suggest is block 'em if you have a call blocker. Another way is turn them in to a well-known blocker of war-dialing companies. Monitronics tortures me calling from multiple numbers, and I've NEVER had any business with them. But am I going to explain that to them??  NO I will keep blocking their numbers.

this voice mail was just left on my cell phone: "good afternoon, this is moni calling about a change of status in your account.  please call 800 890 6018"
i do not nor have i ever had business dealings with this company.

time to add both of the numbers to my block list.
