Multiple calls from this number, with the caller id of Loan Depot. However, appears to be just another phony robo-caller, since they also call on 844-536-8362 and 866-933-8135, with multiple calls on each of the three numbers. Plus, we are not in the market for any loans at this time. Conclusion is they are just scam callers, seeking personal data, such as SSN. Followed advice of others in this forum, and filed complaints online (no charge) with our State Attorney General, fcc.gov and ftc.gov. Everyone please file complaints, for which your privacy is protected. When the magic number is reached, these agencies will team up, hunt down the criminals, shut them down, and prosecute.

These scam-spam callers are apparently widening their call circles. We are also not interested in any home or other loans, particularly since we paid off our mortgage several months ago. We made it clear we were not interested in any new loans, despite a barrage of phone calls to that effect. Followed Edie’s advice above and filed complaints with the three named agencies online.

Well, well, these loan critters must spend a lot of time at their robo-caller machines, as we have received at least five calls from them while we were away. Loans are not needed by us in any way at this time. Learned a potential defense against these scam callers from the entries above, so we will file complaints online, from now on, with our State Attorney General, fcc.gov and ftc.gov. Blocked.
