Anoying call that can't return

I am getting calls from this number too.  No voicemail msg left.

They called my home phone and hung up when my husband said I wasn't available.  Then they called my cell phone and he wasn't able to reach it in time.  I can't call them back.  One website I found said that this is a fundraising telemarketer.  I'm irked that they have both of my main numbers.

got a few calls from a number i do not know. did not want to waste my cell minutes, so did not answer. tride to return missed call, but it is always busy. don;t care who it is from, just want it to stop if i cannot contact of my own accord and at my own convenience. this is not the first number of this kind that i have run into.

how can i stop this?...and how can i follow up regarding this kind of thing in the future? anybody know?

I received a call from this number right in the middle of Jack Bauer's 24.
That's not only inconsiderate, but nearly sacreligious!  Don't screw with Jack!

I got a call from this number and answered. The lady said she got my number through my school and something about financial aide.

my mom answered it and said it was the buffalo philharmonic calling for donations

Keep getting calls that hang up when the answering machine picks up.

Yep keeps calling, important matter, can't return call as it is always busy. FOR PETES SAKE.....

I believe this is a company that solicits contributions for non-profits (in my case, a local theatre company).

They call at least once a week. I see that I do not know who is calling, so I do not answer.  Ne message left.  Very annoying.

They were very nice.  I hate these calls too, but they needed my correct spelling for a register being printed at my university and I am glad they called me as it was WAY off as it was.  It ended on a good note, but I was not that nice at first.  Felt bad I treated them so poorly.

have received a call from this number more than once- most recently today jan. 19 @ 3:45pm.

Just got this call and don't usually answer "800" numbers.  Answered and they asked for a local townsperson by name.  I know this person, but just replied that she doesn't live at this number.  Gentleman thanked me for the info and hung up.  Who knows?

I just got a call from this number too, Dawn.  Asked for a specific person who I do not know.  Told HER they had the wrong number,but they repeated my number.  Told them I had had this number for a long time, years in fact.  Apologized and that was that.  Funny thing though, just last year I was getting calls for this same person and the number was attached to a podietrist (sic)!  Go figure.

calls every day, asks for me, and never leaves name or place of business. just annoying, and i don't bother to answer them

i have been getting calls from all sorts of collection agencies, scam companies, and the like, since the end of october. i opened an account with Bank of America and a day later went with a friend for an auto loan to co-sign.  it has been hell since that time. i was told somebody was using my ss#,  and then i received an email from Bank of America thanking me for my email addy (which i had never provided).  the email stated that the account was for the person who had been allegedly using my social security number. needless to say ..seeing his name in an email, with my email address..freaked me out.
i am to the point that i am afraid to answer any of my phones.  i check every number on the internet after i ignore the call, and up until today.. they've all been scams.  so.. if any of you reading this post has my phone number.. don't call me.. i won't answer!!

They've been calling me for the past few months now! Very annoying! I just ignore the number... when I tried to call back, it is just a busy signal.
