    it must be some type of offer from mediacom.......I have never paid a late bill, and I have gotten this call everyday for 3 days.....it better be a good offer!

    I got a call from this number this afternoon. Said it was Mediacom calling to inform me of an update in my phone voice mail service. I called Mediacom and no one there seemed to know anything about it.

    However I have seen some posts on line at bulletin board and blog sites that say Mediacom is planning upgrades in their voice mail system so who knows what is correct? Are tehy or arn't they. Kind of funny when their own customer service people do not know about it.

    The message IS a "courtesy call" from Mediacom reminding people of the upgrade to their voice mail system on April 19th. You have to re-record a voice mail message and set a new password after the 19th.

    received a call from this number everyday for three days and today twice within a hour!!!

    Call yesterday & today.  No one there.  Seems to be an automated thing.
    If it is MediaCom, they are in trouble with me as they were forbidden to call us about anything except billing, or repair service.  When we signed with them for phone, we signed for unlisted and unpublished (for which we pay $4.99 per month...I later learned they had given it out which they acknowledged, and gave a refund for 6 months.  Need to change the #.

    I just got a call from this number. Definitely not just about phone service, as the only phone I have is my cell phone. A survey of the technician makes sense as I had one out here this morning. No voicemail or anything was left.

    The Mediacom tech had left my home just minutes before I got a call from this number.  I did not answer and they left a two second message that got cut off before it finished.  -----update----- They just called back while I was typing this.  I answered and it was a 3 question survey about the tech service just completed.  How good was service (excellent), how hard did I have to work to get service out here (easy)  and would I recommend Mediacom to a friend (Yes).
