i got this text to...how many of u have sprint...i wonder if someone hacked there phone numbers?

I received the same messages about a $100 Gas voucher from 866-938-9167.  I've really never received any scams like this until I signed up for txt alerts from our local weather stations.

I received a text from them saying that I was selected to win a $100 Gas Card Voucher and to call 866-938-9167 to redeem. Never called. I did text STOP as a reply. so far nothing happened just saying that I successfully unscribed from something that I never subscribed too. WEIRD!!!!!

Same text message about "selected to win a $100 Gav Voucher."  I did not reply. Scam.

just got the same gas voucher text.  googled the number to see what business it is and found this site.

This is a scam.   Never reply to the stop reply because it confirms that your computer generated call number is a valid number.  It is a pain but keep deleting the text or place a block on the sender.  Inform your cellular carrier for help.

Free $100 gas card offer...obviously phishing scam.  Do not reply stop to stop because it will only verify that it is a valid number.  If text comes through again will just block it. Not sure how they got my number!!

Should I reply? Maybe! I'm getting the gas voucher and all guys are going to miss out!!! hahahaha. Just kidding. I'm totally not biting, but would like to know how to digitize a cattle prod to the head and text that that to the sender. Ahhhhhhhh.... beautiful revenge!

I just received the same text message.  I did not reply.

51297 is using your phone number.  If your phone number is on the "do not list" you do not need to do anything else.   Note links in some of the other posts to report the call/text.

ME, ME... I sure as heck didn't want this either, but apparently got the privilege to join this group of people to get a msg from a junk site.... I love it... (sarcasm to those of you who didn't see that coming) and sure as heck will probably get more

same crap over and over -  do these marketing companies 'really'  think anyone will respond to this crap?
I have to pay for minutes, and these annoying text messages deduct from my minutes and cost ME money.  Why do I have to put up with this?   I am on the donotcall.gov registry and I STILL get this crap.
my phone company can not block the messages - I was told that I could shut off texting to resolve.  unbelievable!

I also continue to file a complaint with donotcall.gov -  not sure it really does anything because I keep getting messages from this company AND  I have to pay for them!!!

Just got this for the second–same deal from 51297. Verizon can't block numbers that have fewer than 10 digits, so I took a shot at replying "Stop."  Hoping it won't make things worse.

I got a call about recieving 100$ in gas vouchers and was transfering me to another number then Hung up I did try to call it back to.see what company they was calling from and everytime it rang once then said good bye..... Ugh glad i didnt give thwm.any information

I receive a text message from 313-898-4748 informing me these exact words: You have been selected to receive a FREE $50 Target Gift voucher Call 1-866-938-9168 to redeem.  

I didn't call or reply, I thought it was a scam.  Thanks for posting these comments, but it helped me detemine that it definately was a scam.  Just wanted everyone to know that they got tired of using the gas card line, now they are using Target.
