Got a robo call on my cell, I answered and waited for it to go to a live person. The guy had the last four of my social and said a payday loan I took out has gone to collections. Well, I don't do payday loans, and my credit score is around 779-812 range, and my credit report is absolutely clean. I advised the person, the person became argumentative. I asked for the date the loan went into default, as the statute of limitations is four years after the default date. First he said 2016, then he changed it to 2018, yelled some more, and then hung up after saying this would now appear on my credit report. Freaked me out a little, but has to be a scam.
