I got call today (October 05, 2007) from this number @ 7:30 PM. I didn't picked the phone & the caller didn't left any message. seems like Hide n Seek.

I got the call too, and mine was the same response.

They're annoying.

Call at different times of the day. I never answer and they never leave a message.  It's just annoying because I'm disabled and if the phone is upstairs and I'm downstairs....well, you know what I mean. Frustrating!

non responsive calls. I no longer answer calls from this number but they call every few days.  I am on a do not call list but this number persists anyway.

Keep getting phone calls from this number-4 times before 10am, we no longer answer it

Same thing is happening to me. The number 1 866 940 9454 calls to maximum 3 times a day to a minimum of once every 2 days.  I phoned Bell and they told me to get in touch with Phone Busters. I have learned that this number is a "Dead Air Dialer" meaning that once you pick up the log the time at which you picked up.  The time at which you pick up is valueable to telemarketers - they want to call when you are home - so these dead air dialer companies sell this pick up time information. I am also on the No-Call list.  I think the CRTC no call lists covers Dead Air Dialers i am going to make a complaint to them and Phone Busters.

Got a call with a file number and request to return the call from "peter johnson something or other" not sure what it's regarding could be a collection agency.

Also received call twice within one week - looking for my daughter who is married and living away now with a different last name - from Peter Stephan, called around lunch time the last time they called - automated voice - 1-866-940-9454 ext. 26, gave 6 digit file number...?

got a call it was nothing to do with good life. these people are suppose to be lawyers to collect from people but where is the real home page for the company.  i was trying to work stuff out but it seems money is needed in big lump sums.  listen people some of us do try to come with agreement but it is just not good enough   ithink if someone is willing to pay back there shouldn't be such a big hurry. at least some people try to come up with an agreement to pay back but that doesn't seem good enough for these people????????????

I got a call at 9:00 this morning from them, it was all automated saying they were a law firm and gave me extension 23 and a reference number, I called RIGHT back and it was all machines answering...I didn't leave anything with them, we'll see if I get a call back or not.

I have also been receiving phone calls from this so called Law Firm, They have called me twice within the past two weeks.  I returned the call and only got a voice mail.  I left two messages, had not got any response.  I even checked with Good Life to see where my outstanding payments were, everything was good on their end and my account with GL was up to date.  This leaves me in a annoyed position, and a bit of a concerned position, because it's not everyday one gets a phone call from a lawyers office.

Message was for a 17 year girl from and they were saying that it was from Peter Stephan Barristers and Solicitors regarding an important business matter at 1-866-940-9454 Ext 23  they were quoting me a file number

It's some barrister and solicitor it's for collections
