This number comes up every day - no message-just a hangup. Caller ID lists Unavailable.

We finaly got someone on the line and they said that they were with American Homeless Veterians and wanted a donation, which we agreed to $30 and they would send it in the mail and we were to hold for someone who would make sure are address was right, a Lady came on and asked would that be credit or debit and I told her no that you were mailing it to us and she said well give me the certain numbers off my check and thats were I said no way and didn't want to give any more , she said ok. They didn't evan have a address or anything just our phone number.
I called the number the next day and it answer American Homeless Veterians.

Does anyone who this number is?

They called, and asked for me by name , when we asked who's calling , they simply hang up on us. How arrogant and rude.

They said "hello"... but then went silent

I just got off the phone with 866-945-3472 and they are American Homeless Veterans wanting a donation. A lady came on and had my address and wanted to know if I would pay it right then. I said no, send the payment card like they said and I would send a donation.

I get these types of calls all the time, we should all look up the number here on this website to see if someone knows the name.  Then look up the name on CharityNavigator.org. because there are too many bogus charities and too many that are barely legal.  These guys are collecting money to put in their own pocket and might donate very little to a charity.

they call id is unknown. never leave a message. all these callers a bogus cheats. ripoff artist. well people. you are not getting my money. the legit organizations don't hang up. so go get a real job earn your living like all of us hard working people.......
