my sister actually got this call and the person on the other line was, "Leah, from Wells Fargo". we called Wells Fargo and they told us it was a scam, because there was no such number in their Collections Department.

This is a Collection agency, CCS (Credit collection Services), main #877-897-7103 Located Newton, MA  Will discuss only how you are going to make payment.

They keep calling my office looking for my brother, daily,, who has never used any of my office numbers for anything.  He doesn't even know the number they are using.  Plus to make matters worse it says that it's a Wells Fargo Debt for a Checking Account.  Which is odd because he has a Wells Fargo Checking account in good standing.  If he owed them money his account would of been put on hold, plus the date they say they acquired the debt is wrong because at the time he had almost $3000 in his checking account, and yet this company is saying he owes Wells Fargo $81....  Total Scam.  They won't verify the debt either.  They told him on the phone that "we don't send out paperwork for debts"... He told them he doesn't send out money without paperwork.  They know that if they send out paperwork it becomes mail fraud...  Total SCAMMERS.  Don't fall for it, even if they keep harrassing you DAILY like they are doing to us!!!

Calls and says NOTHING. If I push buttons on the phone they push buttons back. They call several times a week. It is AGGRAVATING!

Got a call from them asking to call back at the number regarding a debt. I do not have a Wells Fargo checking account. Used to but I closed it a long time ago.They didn't leave a reference number or say who they were working for. I only found out that they were supposedly with Wells Fargo through this website.

The constant calls from them is insane.  Every single day, one right after the other.  They have called me six times already tonight!  Looking for any kind of input to get these guys to quit calling us!!

Called me seven times tonight and three time during the day.

I have begun receiving calls from this number several times per week.  They do not leave a message.  I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  I see that others on this web site have reported it to be a collections agency.  I do not have any debts that would be in collections, and I do not know of any collection agency worth it's salt that would not leave a message in an attempt to collect a debt, even if it's simply "Jane Doe, please call XXX-XXXX regarding an urgent matter."  Not only that, but collections agencies prefer to mail statements so they can pursue legal action.  As others have suggested on this web site, I believe this to be some sort of scam.

This annoying number calls me ten or more times a week. A recording comes on telling me if I am not the peron with the same first and last name as mine but a different middle name then hang up now, I comply and hang up. I am on the do not call list in California and have not entered any contests to kick me off the do not call list. The message begins with this is not a telemarketing call. I have tried blocking the number with selective call rejection and it can't be blocked.

Has called 7 time this morning and several time before today.I put my phone to block calles from this number.

I get calls from this number AT LEAST 8 times a day, very annoying and THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE! So whoever is calling must not want to talk to me very badly.

do not call lists is only for telemarketing calls not collections..if you call them back and inform them its a wrong number or something then the call will stop

recieve calls for debts that my brother has (supposedly). they dont even use his actual name.

Call came in as PRIVATE CALLER.  Normally I don't answer those, but was waiting from a call from someone & thought it might be them.  I asked to take a message from caller.  He said he was "Aldo" @ 866-945-4975.  No other info was given, so no call will be returned as I still do not know who or why this person is calling.  I have noticed PRIVATE CALLER on my caller id several other times & they never leave a voicemail.
