Note: I live in Hawaii and have an 808 number.

Correction: The caller ID was from 3540.

When you do call back it is either a busy signal or it says the 1 800 number is not assigned.  Whatever...but it is annoying and I really thought it might be info on an account...

I also got the same text and went to Aloha Pacific FCU where I read their fraud alert saying they do not send text messages to customers.  I was worried because I'm not even a member of this CU and never heard of them until I started getting these texts.

This is my third such text and follow-up on this site (800notes). What I didn't do before is list the entire message, so I'll do it here now.

(Received 2/1/09, 3:09:38 PM T-Mobile subscriber, 808 area code) Text is as follows:

I got this text too! They even text a second time. Gosh I even tried emailing it back, and the address doesn't even exist.
They even sent another email saying something about Honolulu City and County FCU, and dared to follow up with another alert text.

I live in Hawaii too, I figured these are local companies, why isn't the area code 808?

I called T-mobile and reported this issue. I have a blackberry and also have an 808 number and I am also T-mobile.
First 4 messages started out with "8669457383@kalanet.com/Aloha Pacific FCU. Please call us immediately at 1-866-945-7383 reguarding recent restriction placed on your account."
Now I am getting new messages from 2132212818 to call 14154499447 "!!ALERT!!2nd notification. HONOLULU CITY AND COUNTY EMPLOYEES FCU has suspended your account pending verifications. Contact us now at 14154499447."

T-mobile told me it is a scam and do not release any information when you call the number. They are trying resolve this on there side. The more people that call to complain they faster they will resolve this scam.

T-mobile told me it is a scam and do not release any information when you call the number. T-mobile is trying resolve this on there side. The more people that call to complain it is more likely the faster T-mobile will move to resolve this scam.

i got exactly same texts... I even got third one!
it is a spam.. IF it is really an important problem regarding to my account (though I don't have an account there), it should have been informed with letter by mail... not just a text.

Hope t-mobile can resolve this matter....

I have no affiliation nor credit accounts with anything in Hawaii.
T-Mobile needs to reimburse these text fees if they're charging us for receiving scam/spam.

Typo above, it's "Aloha Pacific FCU"
