They called me and I heard some weird [***] like Turn Left; my bedroom window is on my left so it was kind of freaky. This morning I called into Frito-Lay (The number is 1-800-352-4477) and told them about what happened and about how pissed off I was (especially after reading on this site about how much it frightened some people, I just assumed it was a crank call).

The lady was nice about it and talked to one of the marketing people and said they'd remove my name from the list. I suggest other individuals receiving these calls do the same so they understand how many people are annoyed about this. Just remember to keep cool because if you come off like you're attacking someone it's only natural that they go on the defensive.

Well i think the better way they could've advertised doritos is "if you wanna live. you should buy a bag of doritos it will help." hahahahhaha now that would be the greatest advertising!! XD

it's obviously a pre-recorded voice.
and it's mega cheesy. Frito Lay is not
just randomly picking numbers out of a hat
and prank calling you, like little '7th grade kids'.
it's people playing Hotel 626, and punching
in random numbers that so happened to be yours, or
someone that knows you personally and has your number.
so it's their fault, not Frito Lay's fault.
Hotel 626 is an online game, which in my opinion, is
rather entertaining, and well made, so props to Frito Lay for that.
i guess what i'm trying to say, is; everyone needs to man the [***] up.

as a bunch of undeniably selfish rich idiots.

I have gotten two calls. One at 3 and another during the day. The creeper said "turn right, you better turn right. look its right behind you" I won't lie, it scared the crap out of me. But now that I see all of you guys had the same experience.. I don't feel so bad. I think its one of the stupidest ways to promote a stupid movie. But look here, we are doing what they wanted.. talking about it, visiting the website and being a bit freaked out over a automated voice. So how about we chill. All is good. Haha.

wow this [***] scared the [***] out of me. i got two calls but didn't answer.. i got a voice mail and it was an evil creepy sounding guy talking and i hung up and [***] locked the doors and woke up my sister... ARGHEAH;TEAIOFJEOIAJFA

I got the call at night but my phone was on silent. I listen to the voice mail a few times and it said "hurry! turn right." the voice was creepy as hell but obviously fake. They shouldn't use that as advertisement! If i wanted to be scared i would go see a scary movie or play that game. Besides why would that make me want to play or buy that stuff? People shouldn't mess around like that, it's obvious that people don't want to randomly hear a call like that!

My roommate and  I got the call on both of our phone in the span of 10 minutes. I was called 3 times while my roommate was only called once. WTF. Jesus Christ it's 4 a.m and we're getting [***] up calls like that.

It was kinda creepy, but you lot should just have the common sense to hang up and go back to sleep like i did.

ive been getting calls every night for the past week. im 15 and incredbily superstitious and easily freaked out. what is going on? none of my friends have ever heard of hotel 626. and why is it some random guy constantly calling saying if i want to get out alive ive gotta do this that and the 3rd. get out of what alive?

My friend went on the website and typed in my number instead of hers knowing full well things like that freak me out, but she thought it'd be funny. So right now...I' pissed at her more than anything -.-

okay so me and my friends went for a Smoke :) and a walk.. anmd right when we got back to her house she looked at her phone and was like WOAH i have a missed call... BUT wait... i dont know this number... instantly she listened to the voice message... she came running up to all of us... BTW there was 2 guys and two girls... and she was like OMG you need to listen to it... so she put it on speaker and all it said was " its right behind you" (Dun DUN DUN)   yeah so we pretty much all freaked out for a good 10 mins... we called the number and then looked it up... we started playing the game.. and now we find it F**KING HILARIOUS! we have done this to like 30 of our friends... and then we went to taco bell and did it more... you dumb [***] should do the same... lol stop flippin [***] and lighten up :))) obviously wehn u found out it was a joke and a game u prolly laughed ur [***] off and did the same thing we are doing now :) THANKS

omg i just got this call like 15 mins ago and i am so freake dout i am crying right now and my boyfrined and all his friends are coming to my house me and my best friend are crying and holding eachother.. my puppy is under the blanket with us.. whining... this is thee most ridiculous thing ever  :( i am so upset. what if someone tries to come kill us?????

The call came about 11:45 and scared the crap outta me. It woke me up and when I answered it said "If you want to live you need to do as I say" and I hung up cuzzz i didnt wanna deal with that. Then i got another call and it went to voicemail and I couldnt understand it. 3 of my girlfriends got the same call and when we called back it was the hotel 626 thing

it called and said hello and kept on calling me.

Me and my two friends got the same phone call. It freaked us out, and we couldn't sleep. It is horrible how a food company could put scary websites and stuiped phone call to scare people. That will certainly premote your buisness! Asylum is the same. You have to buy a bag of chips (pepper jack, or barbaque.) to play half of the game. It was sooo stuiped!
