Left a message claiming they were scheduled to install a security system and needed to verify my address.  No security system had been ordered, but if it had, they surely would already have my address and would say my name in the message they left.

Yes, received a call saying they were a billing agent for home security... had ordered one but had already been billed. Curious if agent selling personal information obtained.. only deal with reputable agencies and never over the phone.

I got the exact same call today and had the same response as you did.

I got the same recorded message as the people above, said they were calling to confirm our ADT system installation, which we did not sign up for... mentioned confirming address, but didn't read it... the only reason I'm adding this comment is it a year to the month since  the other comments were left. I guess they're back at it... whatever "it" may be. (extreme COLD CALLING to sell home security... or maybe the first step in a much more elaborate scam.

I also received a call this morning. I did order ADT late yesterday afternoon. I'm calling ADT this am to find out.

Just got a message from this number to "confirm ADT installation appointment" tomorrow. But I didn't order ADT and don't plan to call back, assuming it is a scam.

Am located in Mason, OH for what that is worth.

Just got a call from this # . . . no message, called back and it was ADP confirming our installation for service tomorrow.  We did order ADT.  Everything seemed ligit.

Yes this number is good. Because I did order a alarm services from ADT. They just wanted to confirm with me and everything is good.

Received a telephone call from this number today - several attempts - I never answered.

This number has called me 6 times today and they never leave messages or anything. My son answered it earlier on accident and there was no one there and all it sounded like was a tv on in the background. They're driving me insane!!!!

Husband and I got a call from this number today, when we each answered there was no one on the other end only our own voice echoed back.  We did schedule for an alarm to be set up the following day.  I guess it may be as others have stated to confirm but still seems a bit odd.

I got a flyer in the mail this morning advertising this number as an authorized home security dealer of ADT.  The companies name I believe is called ProtectYourhome.  I was interested but after seeing all the shady calls
they have made I think I am going stick with Anything Wireless they did my Directv and my internet and I know where they are located in Boise.

I received a call this morning from this number wanting to confirm an installation appointment for two days from now.  Never ordered.  Scam.
