If it is World Vision they should have caller ID.

We have been a supporter for many years but they are ALWAYS digging to get even more from us.  Find another well; this one is well-nigh dry

*Never* give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 90% for themselves and sends 10% to the charity. Best to find what charity they are collecting for, research the charity to make sure it's legit, get charity contact info from an independent source, then donate *directly* to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

They have called five more times since my last message on the 4th without once leaving a message.  Congratulations, 866-947-5856, you've just been added to my list of auto-blocked callers.

They've called several times when I wasn't home. Caught them today.  They identify themselves as World Vision.
But you want to donate? I agree with the previous poster. Do it right. Use the call as a reminder, then go to worldvision.org click the 'Contact Us' link and call or donate to them directly.

Incessant calling from this number and they never leave messages. Stop calling!!!

This number is World Vision and I got the without a msg, so I called to find who and what it was about. Spoke with a very nice lady who explaned to me that it is an automated system and World Vision is trying a new system to cut costs.... well I told her that their going to lose alot people if this keeps up with a msg being left and she agreed. she is send out a emai to her folks to tell them of this issue and also taking me off the automated system. I received a new child to sponser and that was why they were calling to check to see if it was ok. I might say that most of time you woud be switched to a live person when you picked up when it was ringing.

This number calls and asks me to return the call without identifying who the caller is, or the reason for the call. Every day! It's very annoying to find them in my voice mail every day. I signed up for the Do Not Call list. It may have expired. I'll have to look into that.
