Caller identified himself as Don Edmonds - Safety Services.  Looking for the person that handles safety programs for the business.  Probably trying to sell some type of safety service or product.

I get 4 calls per day, 2 within 3 minutes of each other, so in reality, 8.  I pick up, no one answers wait a few seconds then get a busy signal.   After 2 weeks I finally called the number back, guy did not identify himself, company is/was Safety Services. I asked if for home or industrial he said yes. Very evasive would not answer any questions.  He asked how I got his direct line?  duh!!  I've called Bell Canada and Phone Busters regarding this number.

It sounds like they are using an auto-dialer.  A computer dials lots of number, more numbers than they have operators.  The folks who answer first get a human pest, the rest get no one then a busy signal.

Stop answering that number.

Left a msg on our machine at work, called himself Jessie Cooper, said he was asked to call us regarding our Safety Meetings.  I am the Safety Coordinator and I was not expecting any call as such.

Good bye, I didn't even bother to call him back.

Asked for the owner, said wasnt available. then he asked that the owner call back and ask for "joey" at Safety Services.

asked if we were a construction company, when i responded no we are engineer's he said sorry wrong number and hung up.

Safety company wanting to sell the new Government required Emergency plans for your business. If you have employees you have to have monthly safety meetings, evac plan, etc. This business sell a book that covers the government mandate.

I had a message left on my office answering maching regarding our safety requirements.  I called back and they tried to sell me a program of minutes to use at weekly safety meetings.  Claimed to have been referred by the WSIB, which is a lie.

David Jagger from safety services said he was told to call us about our safety meeting and to please call him back on his direct line at 866-684-9805. Yeah, I'll get right on that...

Received a call from James Shield.  Asked for the owner, but no on was in.  Asked the owner to call him back on 866-684-9805.  Quite odd conversation, very long pauses between when I stopped talking and when he started.  Was like talking to a computer (definately a person though).

After 40 calls , no messages , I called back got Don , asked why the constant calls with NO MESSAGES.

Big SOB STORY , 250 Employees not sure who calls what # , your SAFETY MANAGER wanted us to call . Sorry no EMPLOYEES except me..

all that was left on my cell phone message was static & a short mumble of a males voice....what a fricken [***] this idiot is.....when I buy something, I alone will seek out the seller.....same goes for the [***] that show up at my door trying to sell something

What was the description of the complaince that you received a fine for?
Did that not just give you a warning and have you correct the complaince and then come back?
This Safety Service is just a scam.
I asked if they are trying to sell something and they hang up.
I call back and no one answers

Scam...Scam...Scam...why am I screening calls from the states about safety services. buzz off!!!

I forgot to mention we operate our business in Canada.

Called the IDIOTS back got the BS story , we have 76,000 Customers 1 of then referred you to us.

Talked to other contractors they get the same BS calls , either no one on the line or the 1 of your employees setup a meeting.

If they leave a name & # to call back , that person is always out training for the day , 5 minutes after they called.

A few of the positive postings recently posted are from employees of this annoying outfit.

Seems they are well aware of this site.

JERKS! Called them back to ask to be taken off their call list because all I get are calls with a disconnect, no voice, nothing. And Matt said they dont have a call list (Bull crap, you obviously have an automated machine that calls me and hang up on me since it happens so often!) and said "Thats weird... are you in the construction or service industry?" I said yes and he said "Whats your company name?" When I told him he doesn't need that information he just said alright and hung up on me! I Saved the number as "do not answer" so when it comes up on my call display I wont answer it!

They kept calling and then it would disconnect.  I called them back and asked to be taken off list also and he hung up.  Don"  So I made a few calls to them the same way.

I think this company is a scam.
