I talked to the lady.  I'm getting a phone upgrade from Galaxy III to Galaxy VI and because my use pattern didn't match the plan I had, she changed it and I'll save a little over $20.00 a month.  I'm glad I talked to her, because I also had a Roadside Assistance charge I didn't need, because I have RA in my truck with On-Star.  So - glad I answered!

Yeah sorry, but I would need proof that you are saving money, and about this roadside assistance, never saw that offered, even though I have been with Verizon for over 20 years.  My guess is that you are a shill for this criminal enterprise, after all, why would you look up a number that you already knew?

Rec'd two calls today, didn't answer, no message left.  Several on here have said it's Verizon or that CID says it's a "Toll Free Number".  My CID says "United States".  Not going to answer it.  If I feel I need a change in Verizon services I will call them directly.  Not at this number.  I think that is a safer path, in my opinion.

This person claimed to represent Verizon, could lower my bill, and needed to update information.  I told them to call back.  I then called Verizon and confirmed that this number is not from Verizon and in fact Verizon does not make personal calls to customers.  The caller was apparently phishing for personal information with a promise of a lower cell phone bill.

They never leave a message and call every day for about a month and then they stop and then started again 6 months later.  No way to make it stop...

Received a call on 1/14/16 from an unrecognized number and no caller ID. Left no message.

Did you tell them, they should have your phone number, because they called you?

I just noticed that I had a missed call from thuis # on my cell phone.  They didn't leave a message.  Hopefully this was a 1-time annoyance, otherwise I might need to block the call.

Same number called my cell again, & no message left.  Thankfully Verizon lets me block up to 5 numbers, they're added to my list!

Same here.  Received a call for three straight days on my cell phone.

I called Verizon and they verified this IS a marketing call from Verizon. We, too, were receiving them regularly on our Verizon cell phone. If you call Verizon, they can note you do not want to receive these calls and they will stop. :) Hope that helps! Have a good day all!

I have my doubts as to the validity of this number since the CID says United States. If Verizon cannot properly identify itself, why would they expect anyone to pick up the call?

I do have a grandfathered unlimited data plan and they are constantly trying to get me to go for a "better deal". They point out that I am on a month to month plan and the unlimited plan could be canceled at any time. I point out that, being on an month to month plan, I can take my business elsewhere with no penalty. Pathetic people!!! I have blocked this number.

I have this number blocked, but they are still calling thru. Caller ID says 866-948-2909, but that number is blocked. It's not stopping these calls, so it has to be another number originating the call. Guess I'll answer and use my air horn!
