Got call from this number numerous times, no one there, no message, just harassment.

If you are getting phone calls from that number, you need to pay your damn bills! BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!! Dont blame them for ASKING FOR THERE MONEY THAT YOU GRACEFULLY STOLE!!! Then to state "It's annoying"?? how would you like it if someone borrowed $1200 from you and ran off to another state without calling or making an effort to make a payment!?!?  BTW, it's not illegal to collect a debt, it's illegal to steal it! PAY YOUR BILLS!!!

As stated, the call is from Security Finance; a legit loan company.  They start calling when you're 1-week behind on your loan payment, or if you have money available to "renew" your loan.

I should know:  I have a loan with them, I just forgot to pay it last week.

866-949-6166 called me and said it was imperitave that I called their number back and then they rattled off the number so fas I did not catch it.  I am on the National Do Not Call LIst.

Just got a call from them...."Great Chicago Finance"  Don't owe anybody any $$..in fact, just refinanced, which is where/how they probably got my name....left a different call back number from the one showing on caller ID...708-488-8900 x407....ask for Jackie,...yeah, sure I will!

They literally called me 10 times in a row I kept ignoring. I accidentally answered the last time and a recording said this is the Legal dept for Jorga trading co., its tax time again contact us to find out how you can use your taxes to get out of this debt. I am reporting this crap is harassment. I know Jorga trading is another company linked to AAF car lot they sell their cars to so yet can screw over ppl. Not sure if the number is linked todiffernt companies that hire the automated service?

Recording sounded like Triple A auctions, but he said it so fast it was hard to understand.  We probably bought from this auction house at some time.  Annoying though, they called 3 times in a row until I finally spoke.

they started calling yesterday...I blocked their number ...they call in a sequence of every 3 minutes...they have called 8 times this morning over a period of 24 minutes.
They do the same thing at 7 pm..... now I can shut off my phone at these times :)

I received many calls, and just this morning, decided to take action.  I called them back, and nicely requested that they remove my number from their list, which they did do.

Will monitor and report as needed.

This is Time Warner Cable business class.  It's a legit call.

One. . . More. . . Time!. . . The phone number may be legit, does not mean the caller is. With a few dollars in software, caller ID can be made to say anything you want. NEVER give out personal, or financial information on a call you did not make. Always get the number from the back of a credit card, phone book, or statement.

HOW do I stop all these annoying telemarketers and Debt Collectors from calling my cell phone asking for people I don't even know. They actually left a message for me to call a local number and I went totally OFF on the IDIOTS! This is harassment above and beyond rational human behavior makes a person want to shoot them thru the phone. This should be outlawed aganst my Constitutional privacy rights according to the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION they are invading my privacy and how the crap do they get our PRIVATE numbers is probably a GOVENMENT ploy from the NSA bull that's going on in this Country.

I did an application for a secured card at premier first bank, since than i received a letter saying that my account is open, next day i received a letter saying that i need to send a copy of my SSN, next day i received a call from this number saying they need a document that verifies my adress.
First letter saying that i was approved mention this phone number 800 987-5521 (phone number is listed on google being of first premier bank)
Second letter and call from this number 866 949 5800 (this phone number has no reference to the bank on google and search lists, and the second letter has a different P.O BOX)
I truly believe it is a scam, or some kind of fraud!

Our small church uses some free or low cost solution for bulk calls using a volunteers voice to deliver a message, such as "This is a reminder of a Church Council meeting this Tuesday at 7 pm."
The caller is shows this number.

I got a call from them and have no clue who they are. I have only had this phone for a few days and have not given it to anyone yet.

I received a call AND voicemail from this number, today. It was from an Auction service that I recently attended (estate and antique auction). Apparently, this number is an auto-dialer service, NOT OWNED by the business that's trying to call you.
From the comments below, it's clear that multiple businesses contract this same auto-dialer service. Some are helpful (as with the auction service alerting me of the next auction), while others are harrasment (like Security Finance). However, in both cases, the 866 number is not owned by either of them. It's just an outbound-only number that will dial and transfer to an agent (if you answer) or leave a pre-recorded message (if that's what the contracting business pays for).

Can't find out who this is but if you own this number and read these posts, you are very irritating!!!  If you want to play grown up and call a grown up....then man up or put your big girl panties on, whichever the case and take return calls
