Boy was I excited...have had these before.  If you can't give me more detail as  to when I entered, where, and who is giving it away then call someone else.  One big scam.

I received a call on April 29, 2010 from a man who said his name was Michael Gates.  He stated that I needed to pick up a winning scratch off lottery type ticket to see what prize I had one.  The prizes consisted of a 2010 Explorer, $25,000 in cash, 3 nights in Las Vegas or a 27" flatscreen tv.  He claimed that he was calling from Publisher's Clearing House which is very doubtful.  Please make note of this number and be cautious of any of these callers.  Has anyone received a call similar to this one?  Thanks!

My answersing machine message was from Bill Rex, he said to call him back at 866-952-6247 x100 about my being a finalist in winning a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator. I Google first, so I didn't have to call back. Thanks for all your comments!

Curiosity got the better of me so I called. It sent me to a voicemail box (full none the less) 708 248 5655 was the number of the mailbox. My caller wasTom Penn. Caller I.D. has the number called from as 708 833 8814. Seems my name was drawn as a finalist for a Ford Explorer or a Lincoln Navigator.

caller said it was important to call back to win SUV. His name was Tom Penn @ 866-952-6247 ex100.
Some people have to much time on their hands.

On May 7, 2010 a message was left on our phone by a Tom Penn saying that had entered a contest to win a SUV (which I had not), and he had good news. He said that I had to call back within 24 hours. Out of curiosity I called (several times) and no one live answered. Each time a recording said to leave a message and another recording came back on to say the box for messages was full. There is definitely some sort of fraud going on from these people.

Had a call today on my answering machine to call Jerry Vay at 866-952-6247 x 100 as I was a "finalist" for a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator. I was told it was in my interest to call as soon as possible.

I did not recall entering a sweepstakes for such vehicles  - so I did not call. Glad I checked it out on this website - looks like there are many "finalists"

Just now got the phone call from Tom Penn. I obviously won a new suv. pretty excited, can't wait to go pick it up... NOTTTT.. haha I hate spam calls

We just returned home from the fitness center.  Message was on the answering machine.  Same message as many here report:  caller was Jerry Bay, we were finalists in (somthing -- couldn't make out the first name) or a Lincoln Navigator, and it was in our best interest to call back as soon as possible.  Number to call back was 866-952-6247, X100.  Caller ID came in as "Mid Marketing."

gift services  won a car or something  umber to call 1-866-952-6247 ext 100 saying I won a car.  called them back for over 2 hours and counting -- I have nothing better to do  -- seems they have to listen to the phone ring on the other end because they answered a few times very annoyed (too f'in bad) wait until I get to work tomorrow and have access to several hundred phone lines

Got a call from 866-952-6247 ext 100 from Tom Penn wanting me to go to a time share presentation for a winning prise of an Explorer, 25K, 27" TV or 3 day Vegas trip.

I have received about 6 or 8 phone calls from this number over the past few months, but I never had a pen and paper handy. As soon as I saw the name "Special Promotions" I made sure I had one.

Sure enough ... call immediately to finalize my entry for an SUV. I don't ever remember entering anything like that, but as they had been so persistent I called the same Jerry Bay back at 866-952-6247. (Interestingly enough, the call originated from 708-833-8821 which is listed as a cell phone number out of Chicago Heights, IL.)

They did not have my name but knew I lived in Florida and wanted to confirm my marital status. I played along because I want to see what kind of scam they are running. I am making notes on this and intend to report it to the Secretary of State, Consumer Fraud Division.
