this number keeps calling and I don't know who it is

866 952-9523 returns to "Customer service for online payment . This is a vender payment system  Arvest bank customers  use to pay  bills online using a home computer or mobile computer.  It should be noted the  Arvest online payment website is available only to Arvest bank customers. The  company  that actually processes the payments for this website is a third party company.  So if you have a questions about payment delays, or late fees   you must first identify who the third party company is because it is not Arvest ( This is what  Arvest is saying.) For example: Does the third party send payment  electronically? or do they send your vender a payment check in the mail.  You will want to know how  they determine what method of  payment  occurs and the delay dates from the date you initiated your payment request online.  The date your payment was presented to the vendor, (electronically sent, sent by mail etc. ?  Date the vender decided to credit your account with the payment.  

Call the number and find out who they are.  You should never be asked for your ssn, dob, or account number, address etc. .You are calling to get educated, not give away the farm.

They asked for either my account number or my social security number. I hung up!

Did not answer because I get so many sales calls.

Answered a call from this number on my work phone.  It was a recorded message claiming to be from Arvest. "A hold has been placed on your transaction from yesterday.  Please call 866-952-9523 to remove this hold."  Sounds like a scam to me since they did not identify the company/person they were trying to reach or identify which Arvest account was on hold, since the company has several accounts.
