- B from Florida| 3 repliesI got a letter in the mail, heading, Webster Hall and from a person, Cali Steil, VP informing me that I have qualified for two roundtrip airline tickets. retail value up to $1298.00 . They go on to say they attempted to contact me several times without success. Well, they have tried to contract my husband, too; we don't answer phone if we don't know who they are or they don't leave a message. They included the above phone number. Is this a scam? I believe it is, so let's bust them.

I hung up after she wanted me to read the code on the bottom of the letter. I figured that they already had too much info.

- DeeI received the same letter and it sounds to good to be true so to play it safe I am discarding it. especially because this Cali Steil does not exist and phone number shows up as just being a toll-free number--not much info.

- John in FloridaReceived the same email today. (Webster Hall, Cali Steil - Vice President). What a scam!!!
If I truly received "tickets valid for travel anywhere in the continental US from any major international airport", just send me the tickets directly!
Did more research on this scam - there is no such company as "US Airways". Just another group of scammers out to seal your personal information.
This letter (and all future mail from this "Company"), are going right in the trash!

- RBGot the same letter about airline tickets from Cali Steil. Signed, but no return address on the envelope or on the letter. Postmarked from Phoenix, Arizona. My name and address were hand written on the envelope. First off, no legitimate company that's up to any legitimate business practice would send a letter out that has no definitive company identifier or company address. And Cali Steil, Vice President of what?!
I'm thinking these are either crooks looking to get personal information or, more likely, bill collectors skating outside the law to attempt to identify and harass people. I have no debts from which anyone needs to collect; but occasionally, I'll get some scum of the earth trying to collect on a debt that was settled some ten or twelve years ago. This seems to me to be just that type of illegal and underhanded an organization that would try to collect on uncollectible or non-existent debts. I bet the code at the bottom of the letter is an account reference number.
If anyone finds out what, exactly this company is and what they are truly up to, I hope they post it. Whatever it is, it is certainly shady and likely outside the law. Your best bet is to toss the letter and block the number.- Caller: "Webster Hall"
