I never gave my information for any 3.95 charge and just got hit with a $29.99 charge. I am printing out this webs information so they can be aware too of the scam at my bank. Thank you all for having this site!!!

I got a 29.95 charge on my checking account from "GRNTPROG/8669600858". I did order that stupid grant writing thing in March 09 and got charged 74.95 once (after never receiving ANYTHING from them). I cancelled the "subscription" or whatever you want to call it. And told them "DON'T CHARGE ANYTHING ELSE ON MY CARD I AM CANCELING EVERYTHING" and then this random charge shows up on my bank statement OVER 3 MONTHS LATER! I can't get a hold of anyone, keep getting messages saying their system is down or I'm on hold for freakin EVER. I'm going to have to dispute it with my bank now.

Grant scam from a company called Government Grant Mentor (appears on statement as " ... GRNTPROG/8669600858 SALT LAKE UT ..." the company answering the 8669600858 number is FinishPoint Marketing (also from Utah);  most likely just an outsourced call center with extremely low standards or a sister company of the grant scam companies.  

Don't waste your time contacting either company -- take action via the financial institution handling your money and file a complaint with the appropriate federal/state office(s).

Sorry to say this is a scam. I got hit to and had to cancell my debit card and get a newone. sorry you got hit too.
