I am also getting calls and they leave this number to return the call to. It's threatening me with "agents out looking for you today at your residence and at work" "we will be serving you court papers" and such. I am assuming it has to do with old payday loans. I have a friend that works for a payday loan company and he says that they cannot do anything but threaten, so they will go to great lengths to do it.

They keep calling my parents instead of me, even asked for my father, so he could give them information about me. Said it had to do with a returned check and I would be served with courts papers and would have to appear in Harris Co. court. Like above I am assuming it has to do with and old payday loan, because I have no outstanding checks that I am aware of. Its good to hear they cannot do anything but threaten, as for if I had the money to repay it I would had. I went through a divorce which in turn caused me not to be able to pay them back.

I got calls and messages similar to both of the ones mentioned about and I haven't returned the calls. The only common thread that we seem to all have are old payday loans. I had been working with company to repay all of my payday loans. Apparently this is one of the companies that did not want to work with them to get paid. I have all of my re-pay letters here at home if they want proof that I have tried to resolve this issue in the past, I can prove it. For now, I'm not answering my door or my phone. My job site shut down well over a year ago and I am still trying to find a job as of now.

caller left message on my phone and on my little brother's phone, saying they had to serve me court papers at home, and if i as not home they'd have to go to my job, where my boss would need to serve as a witness. This made my whole family freak out and think that I'm in some kind of trouble. Very upsetting and unprofessional way of trying to collect money.  They didn't even specify where the hell they were calling from.

I have been getting these calls as well. They have called my daughter and employer as well. I contacted my county attorney as well as the state police. They told me that this is a fraud and do not send any money. Still it is very aggravating. The man.I spoke with was very rude and would not give me any information.

I just received this call today at both my home phone and cell phone. I filed bankruptcy in 2012, and it was discharged all ready. It's nice to know I can check up on these phone numbers online. I called the number back repeatedly, and left a message for someone to return my call.....no one has. I've called the county clerks office and my bankruptcy attorney to check on things. Last time I received one of these calls, my attorney called them back and ripped them for calling me. She threatened them with reopening the bankruptcy, and charging them with harassment. I never heard another word from that phone number....

I just recieved a phone call from this place over supposedly an old payday loan issued to a bank I've never heard of. I spoke with a Brian O'Connor and pretty much he told me I was a liar and a sexual pervert. He threatened to have me locked up for check fraud. I called the FTC and they stated they are frauds. Here is the Reference number 44931049. You can review the case on www.ftc.gov. I hope something can be done.

They called my parents, who live over 2000 miles away. Claiming that someone was going to show up with papers, etc at their home. Got them worried as hell. These [***] are phonies, just trying to see if they can get innocent people to pay them unearned money. If you feel like calling them, do not do so from your own phone, use a pay phone. As toll-free numbers, such as this, can automatically record and trace the number dialed from, because they are "paying for the call"

i got these calls to because i took a loan out and never payed it back. I was waiting for the call because it was on my credit report and needed to be paid. Brian O'conor was very helpful to me and we resolved the issue. They are ordinary people just like you and me they have a job to do. If you are called pay back the loan you took out it's only right. Stop blaming them for doing their job and pay back your loan!!!!

IF anyone has been called by this company and told that charges are pending, lawsuits, criminal action, process servers or court papers are being served, please report this to the New York State Attorney General's office by calling 716-853-8404,  save all recordings where legal.  If you received a call from them but did NOT receive a dunning letter within 10 days of that communication, please also file a complaint as this would be a violation of law.   If they contacted a third party and revealed the nature of the call to that party, please file a complaint.  Please check with your own state's department of State bureau, and see if they are licensed to do business in your state.  If they are not, they cannot attempt to collect from you.  New York has a dedicated task force that intends to make sure collectors uphold federal and state laws.   All complaints must be signed and in writing.

I got the same calls, not only from this number but from another fraudlent number same person just different names. I am in the middle of Bankruptcy , I informed my Attorney about this, he told me to keep a list and the phone number, as it is Illegal for a debt collector to be calling someone that is in Bankruptcy and to ignore there calls, debt collectors are not allowed to call your place of employement, harrass you or threaten to take you to court or have you arrested, these are just threats. Becareful do not pay anything to these people, they will end up wiping out your bank account and the debt will not even be paid, they are just after your money.

I received a call from a Restricted number, didn't answer it and "Amy" with Legal Support Services at Lombardi & O'Conner left a voicemail for some guy I've never even heard of, saying that a legal document from Harris County would be delivered to my home address tomorrow. She gave a call back number and case number. I called back to let them know they had the wrong number, and Mr. O'Connor didn't seem concerned at all. He said, "Oh, you don't know the guy? Just disregard the call." What kind of crap is this? Do they dial random numbers until they get the person they're trying to reach? Very shady...

Yes, same number, same people - scammers. Collection agencies are not allowed to threaten court action, etc. Also, just a general comment, a process server is not going to call to find out if someone is at home. They will just show up to serve papers. Jerks - all of them.
