This number was on my c/c as Wellness Labs with a charge of $86.42. I became aware of this as my bank alerted me to an irregular charge from these people which I had not authorised. I tried calling the number they give, 1-866-967-4917, but I am left permanently on hold. I did order a FREE sample of tablets but did not authorise any monthly subscription. I even told them this when they called me after I received the product.
Watch out for FREE(????) products. My c/c did decline the charge but I want to get my number off their computer in case they try to charge again.

Call them back, turn your speaker phone on, and get comfortable. Play a game or read a book because it may take a while before you can talk to a sales rep.
I just called today and had my order canceled (after i was billed for 2 months of course). I didn't have to hold for too long, a couple of minutes tops. Try again, it may work out this time.

The internet ad was for 99cents for Acai Berry Detox sample.  Instead the charge was for 86.42.  Fortunately, I had not opened the bottle, so called the company and  got a RMA number and address to return.  Will see if they try to bill again next month, but am also reporting to my credit card.  Best to stick to the local health food store than the internet.   But a real pain, nonetheless.

how this works - its called a Negative Option Contract

They lure you in with the Free Trial Period for a small fee ( shipping and handling) The product is not free, just the chance to try it first - before paying for it.

What they do not tell you unless you specifically read the Terms and Conditions (what you agree to when you place your order)is

1.  You WILL BE CHARGED for the original order unless you cancel within the trial period.

2.  The trial period starts the day you place your order - not when you receive it, so it always arrives with little time left in the "Free Trial"

3. If you do not cancel - they will continue to send and bill more product every month.  

Terms and conditions also state how to CANCEL - (yes - I know they make it very difficult to do)

So to avoid this in the future

1. Check the internet for complaints FIRST

2. Read the terms and conditions located at the bottom of the screen- before you start filling out forms (some site capture the info even if you never click on submit)

3. Read the Privacy Policy - this is where they tell you that they give your information out to their "partners" increasing SPAM emails and calls.

4. Celebrity endorsements are not usually valid - Oprah and Rachel Ray both have disclaimers on their websites about the Acai Berry product and HARPO is suing those who claimed her endorsement.

5. Featured on  - simply means that they have advertisements on those channels - programs = not that there is a legitimate endorsement.  

6. ADVERTISEMENTS – from the Federal Trade Commission website:

The appearance of ads in media outlets that you recognize - like your local newspaper or radio station - is no guarantee of the legitimacy of the company behind the ad.  

NO - I have never gotten caught in this - just did a little research after reading 1000's of the same complaints over and over again.

This is [***]. They never sent the free trial, and then charge me almost 160 dollars unauthorized. WTF!?! If you are seeing this 800 number on your bank account, then just chalk it to to you being screwed. My bank refused to reverse the charges.

My bank can't do it nothing right now  but I  need to call back in two days to put in a complaint (fraud),Please make sure before you get some free offer,,,,THATS NOT TRUE...

A charge posted on my CC account for Wellnesslab in the amount of $79.16.  When I called the number, they stated that nothing had been charged to that CC# BECAUSE.... back in August 2009, I DID order a $2.99 sample product that had a 'Free 15-Day Trial.'  Well and fine, but the trial period begins that date you requested the items.  This does not mean that you will have the item in you hands to trial for 15-days.  It took some 20-days to receive the product.  Prior to the 15-day trial end, I cancelled the account by waiting on 'Eternal Hold' (866-906-6551) and cancelling.  To my amazement, I received a bill on the CC for $87.83 (TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THEIR CONTRACTUAL BILLING AGREEMENT).  They began their credit process for me which should take 7-10 business days to post.  Never did!  Called back and sat on 'Eternal Hold' again and by then I was fuming!  They began the process again and took it to their "escalation team" for faster reimbursement.  This took them 8-days to finally post the credit to my card.  Now, some two months later, they have charged me again, but under this number.  So here we are, they admit to having cancelled the account under a totally different number and ignored my request for their name, phone number, employee ID and company address.  Can you spell SCAM!!!  They are playing legal loopholes with unsuspecting consumers like myself.  You would think that the professional images and reps they utilize would stand up and complain that their images are being dragged through the mud because of this.
