Hello, these people called me telling me they were going to file felony charges against me for a title loan that I can not afford to repay. I advised them that I can only pay $20 a month, so they told me they would go ahead and process my paperwork with the county and I will be arrested. I tried to record them saying it, because I know that is illegal. I put the car up for collateral, so they need to come get it since I can't afford to pay it.

I asked them to send me a letter stating that they would be filing criminal charges against me. They said they didn't have the authority to, so I told them they don't have the authority to press charges on me. These people are rude, liars and very unprofessional.

I will be speaking with a lawyer ASAP, in regards to this harassment. They also called my sister saying the same thing that they would be pressing charges against me.

These people sound like criminal scammers.  Nobody is arrested over debt -- it is a civil, not criminal matter.
Their illegal threats make me wonder if they are really the company that actually owns your debt.  From your description, they have violated the FDCPA a few times.  Then telling your sister about this is one violation.  Do you have their mailing address?  Perhaps your lawyer can advise you about suing them for FDCPA violations.

I had a call from Carol Carter reguarding a past debt that I owed.  She was very professional and helped me come up with a settlement that I could handle with my budget.  She was very professional and treated me with much respect in resolving this matter.

Last week my son received a call from this number, 1-866-967-5817 from a Jacob stating he was looking for my husband over a fraudulant check he wrote back in 2011. He told my son that my husband need to get an attorney as he was being charged with felony check writing.  First of all, we didn't have any checks back in 2011 until just a month ago. Second, my husband has never written a check. Third, you can not be charged a felony for a debt.  I just received a phone call minutes ago from my mother-in-law stating that they had called her as well and got her all worked up.  Does anyone have any idea about these people? They claim to be from Revenue Management Consulting Group.  Getting sick of these threats!

They are debt collectors collecting on payday loans. There is no such thing as check fraud or theft by deception on a payday loan I Can assure you. Funny thing is they are not even recognized by the BBC
