This is a scam. Scam scam scam I have rec'd over 20 calls from this and various other numbers, all from people with thick Indian (India) accents and when I asked for their names, I got Kevin Peterson and a Marvin Brown....Give me a break!! They tell you that you have been approved for a "loan", car, credit card, etc, and then they try to sucker you into giving out your SSN, DOB and bank account number to fill out an "online" application. I tried getting information from them, but they won't even tell you where they are located - they won't give you the street address. Maybe the city, but that's it!!

We should all hassle them back. Tell them you don't have computer access, that you need the "money" you were approved for to buy a new computer, and that you need their name and address so you could come down to their "office" and pick up the check. Also, tell them you don't have a bank account and that's why you need to come down to their "office" and "pick up the check". Finally they will get frustrated and then, they hang up on you!

My bad, this number is legit. It was mixed in with one of the dozens of other scam phone numbers I've been receiving over the past 48 hours, the ones telling me I've been approved for an auto loan of some sort.

This number is not one of those scam numbers. It is legit!!
