Got a call from 866-971-0599 today and after a pause a female (laughter in background) ask for me by name, when I repllied she said this is Ashley...then the line went dead.

She must've cut off the line to continue her fake laughter.

This number calls us constantly stating that they need to talk to the person who handles the AT&T account. When I tell her that he's busy, she always says she'll try back later because they only do out bound calls.  After several weeks worth of calls, I finally asked if there was something that I could do for her.  She really wouldn't talk to me because I am not the owner.  I finally got her to tell me that we have a credit on our account, but that she needed to speak to the owner in order to give the credit to us.  She keeps saying that she's calling from AT&T.  I'm sorry, but AT&T has in bound lines.  I can't get her to stop calling!!

Had another call from 866-971-0599 wanting to talk to who handles the ATT account, her name was Melissa.  Finally got out of her she worked for Preferred.  She was rude and I told her to mail us the information and we'll decide.  Kept pressuring me to make a comitment on a discount she can give me.  Lead me to believe she worked for ATT and they were giving us a discount.  Cound not give me a number to call her back at, VERY RUDE.

This number has called each day this week - different people each day they've called -- so I've let them get into their 'speech' then I let them know I've googled their number and that it comes up as a SCAM number and that they shouldn't portray themselves as AT&T, at which point today - AFTER the girl told me they were calling on behalf of AT&T - that she 'wasn't' AT&T and then hung up.
