Person tried to pass themselves off as being with ATT&T and said that my rates are changing, etc adn they wanted to verify my address.  But since they didn't call me by my given name, I was suspicious and asked if they were with ATT&T to which the person replied, no.

Enough said, they hung up on me after I gave them a piece of my mind!  F****** scammers!

They called and said "i need to speak to the person who handles the att CELL PHONE account for the business."  I said "we don't have a cell phone account for the business" to which they said "landline?"  I said "you got the wrong number lady. you need to move on"... she said "damn" and then hung up on me.  LOL

Just received a call from this number at my work. When I said they couldn't speak to the owner & Id like our number taken off their list & we're not interested. She replied with " I am trying to delete charges on their AT&T account and (that) I shouldn't be so rude" !

Excuse me. You're taking time out of my work day and letting off steam!! So rude, so annoying.

Iv receive three calls in the last week saying they have a rate reduction for me on my long distrance calls .I ask them are you with AT@T they told me they handle the Long distance for AT@T when I ask what my rate is now she could not answer the question ,so I told her not to call back .
Question for AT@T why dont you put a stop from them they are takeing your business away from you .

Caller said calling to remove charges from ATT acct. I said what company from?  She said LD some other letter. I said are you affiliated with ATT? She said wouldn't be calling me unless they were. I said this sounds fishy. She said we'll leave those charges on your account and hung up.

If this was a real call do you think that they would be so rude and lie to you????

This is AT&T - Cell phone division for Business Customers - not necessarily for debt collections.  They were calling me back regarding a promotional item they didn't fulfill to us.

Call from a person claiming they were going to remove additional line charges and lower long distance charges. But, quietly said, instate calls would go up.
since I do not have additional lines nor do I make long distance calls from the phone they called I told them no thanks.

Yea, it's a scam. Almost duped one of my employees.

I called AT&T and they are just uninterested in pursuing anything even though I could provide names and phone numbers. It is their name being drug through the dirt because they are pretending to be them. A company with the resources like AT&T could fix this if they wanted.

They just hang up the phone on me when I say the employee isn't here.

Any suggestions on what I should do when they attempt to call my employee again next week?

The names are assumed, and the phone numbers are fake.
