Just recevied a call stating I had registered for a chance to win a free gift card from Wal-Mart and I had won $100 but first they need some information before it would be mailed out to me. I told the lady on the line I did not register for any Wal-Mart gift card. She then informed me because I had made recent purchases, I was automatically select through a system. I then told the lady that was not possible, becasue I do not shop at Wal-Mart. Secondly, a system would not pick up my phone number through a purchase at Wal-Mart and they were calling me but yet asking me for my name and other identification information. After informing these people (in a nice way) they were trying to scam me, the lady hung up on me.
