Last year I was scammed into have a virus fixed on my laptop - paid $499 - Mr. Wilson called my home from 707-533-1456  twice this week indicating that a refund was due to me due to their server crashed - when I told him to mail me a refund he hung up -  beware of these people.

Computer was attacked by a virus over a year ago,and was told to contact a company which would I would know as Live Technologies Inc.Paid over 250 dollars for protection.One year later,they keep calling and pestering to renew.Upon telling them I no longer own the laptop,they said they would transfer the software to my current laptop.I refused.2 months ago they called me saying the company was closing down and they wanted to refund my money.However to refund the money,they insisted they take remote control of my laptop as i keyed in my banking details.Needless to say,i declined and blocked the number.
Now they have started calling me from a restricted number,claiming that my protection has run out and i can renew it now.When i told them I was not interested,they informed me of a 200 dollar charge to cancel.I told them the card i used in the original transaction had expired,and they insisted i provide a new card.I would advise everyone to avoid this scam

I don't understand, why you are even talking to them?
If they call from Restricted number, when you hear who they are, just hang up, is not rude.
Or better, don't answer to Restricted, Unknown caller numbers, at all, if is somebody decent, they will leave message.
They are criminals  and nothing is rude enough.
Block all their known phone numbers.
