I got a threatening phone call from this number--a woman claiming that our bank accounts would be frozen if we didn't respond to number within 24 hrs.

I'm getting repeated phone calls stating they are the IRS and they're going to put a lien on our house and freeze our bank accounts.

Very sketchy message saying they would lien my house and freeze bank accounts for inability to pay taxes due. It's total BS because I didn't owe taxes this year.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Claimed to be the IRS and were putting liens on our home

They keep getting the VM at home - so I am up to 5 times that they have called!

This jerk called us claiming to be from the I.R.S and threading to put us in jail if we didn't wired him $1,500.00 immediately.  It was a scam.  The phone number is 1-866-978-6507

ANOTHER number they're using is 317-210-8519.  Same thing as the calls you-all got.  I reported it to the Colorado Attorney General.  These scum called themselves the "Tax Default Line" in the 2 messages they left us in one day.

They're counting on the ignorant & naive.  Such scum are nothing but a waste of skin and a plague on humanity.
