Saying I am due in court for a past loan debt??

Called Saturday Jan 14, 2017 saying I was going to have to appear in court unless I paid x amount. At first I was freaked out and confirmed everything. Next day my check card had fraudulent chargers on it, thank God my bank stopped them. Called around this past week and found out for sure it was a scam. I called them back yesterday and they yelled at me and hung up. Don't give them any information. I am now having to contact so many places to inform them that someone has my social.

I received so many Cala from 866-978-6575 two different ladies gave me the spelling of their company but each one spelled it differently. I got an email from shwartz.weinstein@gmail.com completely blank. When I asked for their address they game me 1271 Harlem rd buffalo ny but had to put me on hold to don't the zip code. I told them to mail me whatever they had because I was going to go to the police and report them she quickly hung up.

Total scam. They presented as a law firm trying to prevent a creditor from filing suit. They do have a lot of public record information though. It seems that they can pull up your credit info and have access to certain creditors and try to trick you into paying them a settlement to dismiss the debt owed. Very convincing but very pushy which was the give away. Don't give them any info!

Got the same exact type of call today only they claimed my daughter wrote a bad check and did we want to pay it off before they take her to court. We hung up realizing it was a scam. I notified my attorney general. Wonder what can be done to shut this down.

Got a call from this number saying my son was going to be have to apprear in court. Have the name of the attorney as Sheila Lewis and the caller was Joesph Scott. So glad I saw these posts to reassure me that it is a scam

Called yesterday but didn't leave a message...called today and left a similar message to what everyone else has posted.  They have called before along with so many other scam numbers.  It insane the number of people out there doing this!!

My husband answered the same thing about  our daughter just a few minutes ago! When he called the number back a lady said it was a mistake! Our daughter doesn't even have a checking account! Any advice? It was an 866 area code.

IGNORE - the OFFICIAL notification of debt is a written document that is mailed to you showing company names, address, original creditor, amount, dates, etc.  Phone calls (especially cold calls) mean nothing.  State attorney generals like to hear about calls like this  too.

They, Call me each year, calls started in 2015, 2016, and now 2017, they say I will be in court, my Tax return will be garnishee, I have 24 hours to report to them and it goes on and on. etc.

I received a called regarding a warrant. I had an warrant for your arrest. I knew it was a scam. I was scam before. That was first and last time.  The same company called in 2015 and took money from me. Before, I start my story. They called 2015, 2016, and 2017. Today, I was ready. I told him. Who are you? The guy mumble. I asked him. What your name?  He stated: My name is Kyle. I asked: “What's the name of company?” He mumble again. He gave me two different name code: SMD and SNAW. Kyle stated: I have to pulled your filed from my computer. Please hold. I asked him: “Can you defined the letters?” He stated: I don't have patience for you. I stated: I can't hear you really good.  He hung up in my face. He called back. I told him. I want to know how did you get my information. You can't tell me what the name of the company and what it's reference to without getting an attitude toward me. You're telling me I can't asked open ending question. I have that right. This company have my SSN.  Kyle stated: “The phone called dropped. I stated: “You're lying.” If your handling business. Your phone doesn't drop. You stated: “You're sitting in front of a desk.” “Your not driving or going to another area.”What's the matter about? Whose the company you represent? Kyle stated SNW mediation. Kyle stated: “ I can't spelled it. It called Schwartz & Weinstein. Kyle stated: We need to take care of this matter or your going to jail.  I told him. I'll called back later. I'm contacting my attorney general. If you received this called from 866-978-6575. This is a scam. This needs to stop.

These people need to be stopped!!!!! Brother gets a call from this number saying there is two warrants out on him, and a felony warrant pending... I  call them back, they wanted a credit card to collect the so called money owed to a. Payday loan company... I called the loan company my brother owed them nothing ... The scammers are getting a lot of money from innocent people because they threaten jail to them... It scares people... Gotta stop

Received a call from "Kyle Baker" stating that I owed money from a bounced check to a collection agency in 2012. And basically he needed confirmation that I would commit to resolving the issue today or the case would turned over for litigation. He had access to a previous bank account, my social # and an old telephone number.
I asked him to send me documentation of the company filing the claim, the total amount they claim I owe, and the final amount that they would accept as payment in full and that since this is the first time I'd been contacted about this matter it was only fair that I be given and extra day to review the documents. Kyle tried to make me say that I was refusing to settle the account, but I told him if I legitimately owed the amount I would take care of it, but having been a previous victim of a scam I would not give him an answer until I reviewed the documents. He claimed someone had been trying to contact me at the old number since January . After several minutes (the actual phone call lasted about 45)  there was silence and when he came back on he said, "I will be disconnecting this call" and hung up.

I received numerous calls from this number 866-978-6575 and 866-852-3370. I found it funny the person leaving the message sounded exactly the same.  He mumbled so I could barely hear him but stated my case was under review.  I called the number back from work and the guy on the recording answered and stated he was from Schwartz & Weinstein yet couldn't provide me any other info and then proceeded to hang up on me.

Eric left me a message stating he just received a fax stating that a warrant is being sent to an old address related to fraud charges
No number was left and he called on an unknown number

I received a call today stating They are trying to deliver papers for me to appear in court for a fraudulent check/ bounced check that was to repay a loan from The Cash Store. $1700.00 from 9/2011. I'm not an attorney, but I don't believe this how legal business is conducted

I received a call from someone saying they were from the court system, and they had just received an email to serve me paper at my home or place of employment.  They gave me this number to call if I wanted to resolve the matter before it went to the courts.  I called the number to see what was going on the rep named Joseph said he had my file and that I had an outstanding balance from an loan back in 2012. When I started to ask questions he became defensive, but when I asked for his companies address, he said he didn't know because they had just moved.  enough said
