***Scam Alert*** Robo-call claiming to be the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency.  Claims there is a lawsuit against you... asks for you or your lawyer to call them back..  Total scam.

second call from these idiots in two days. Called them and they even answer "Canada revenue Agency". But this is a total scam

My son works for CRA and gets these scam calls. CRA will not contact you unless you have received notification in writing and given time to respond. Caller will identify name and which is your particular D.O. - District Office.

Its scam - got vmail asking to call this number - clainming its Revenue Canada. Do not provide any info , "call agent" thretten they will send RCMP bacause of Tax Fraud.

These people call, with a recording everyday, sometimes more than once a day, about how I could go to jail for back taxes from CRA!?!?! I called the number more than once, a foreigner who can barely speak English, answers as "Federal Government, can I help you?"?????? I have asked them not to call, relayed I have called the Federal Tax Dept. and they verify this is false and not to disclose anything. I have called the Police and they say they cannot address this??? I told the man who answered not to harrass me again or I will do my best to get them arrested! I was part of a Fraud team with our Provincial Insurance Corporation for 30+ years and I will do my best to shut this down, hopefully with arrests. Thank you.

Got the call at my office, so I phoned and got a heavily accented "Hello CRA, what is this about?" I said that I got a phone call about a lawsuit, so he asked for my name. I said," I'll give you my phone number, you tell me what my name is ". He says " just a minute". I said " Don't bother, just F*** Off!!

Scam Canada Revenue agency company. Called them to get my number removed and they just hung up on me.

Non contact incoming phone from 866 978 6783. No one on the other line but they continue to call later in the day.

This person called me, leaving two messages on my answering machine to inform me that :  "If you do not call me back, immediately, You will be the only person to face the legalities of this situation."  The person sounded like a woman with a very gravelly voice.  This same person called me twice last week, as well. I know this because I recognized the voice and the repeated message. No explanation of the so-called legalities was ever given.  I checked and the 866 number is unknown in Canada.  The calls have to be connected to a scam.
