- Rossi| 5 repliesThey called me. Persistant East Indian man asking for info about me, claiming to be IRS. Would not answer my questions about why they were calling. I called back with the help of an Operator (would not connect without assistance...just clicking then disconnect). They answered and claimed ignorance of it all. Similar East Indian accent at their end.

- STOP these Indian IRS scammers replies to KimBeware, same situation here. Calls are coming from India. Major scam operation. Their tactic is to scare and bully people claiming to.be IRS agents. I got hung up on when I asked for their ID #. If you *67 them, they can still ID your phone.
They also have managed to have your caller ID identify them as either your local Police dept. Or even the IRS.
They are all Indian with thick and heavy accents.
Warn all your family and friends and report them to the IRS and your local Police and FBI departments.
The #s that called me are:

STOP THESE [***] - LadybirdI had a call saying my husband has evaded taxes and IRIS have found that he owes more then $2180 and that there's an arrest warrant for him. A sherriff would be calling me to let me know about the arrest warrant unless we paid these amounts. she was an indian from her accent and not only that she tried to sound someone real from the IRIS because she gave me a website with her BADGE ID NUMBER. The website was false too. I know my husband pays all his taxes because we file them together every year. Someone needs to stop them!!!!
- Caller: IRIS company
- JimWhy do they keep calling? I told the lady when she called that the party she was trying to reach committed suicide due to the harassment.
