this a big scam by pakistani peoples  dont make them any payment they are SCAM they have taking my $ 549

These guys were very aggressive on the phone, obv using info they got from the internet.  They pretend to be a law firm representing a payday loan agency that says I owe them money and if I don't pay them they will send a notice to my current employer.  Never had a payday loan in my life....so I confronted them about it obv being a scam and they promptly hung up....DO NOT give into this scam.

They called me the first time from a different number than this but its the same people.  Telling me I owe them money.  I called the local police station and they said don't talk to them.  When they called I told them I didn't owe them any moeny and to send me something saying I did.  They wanted to argue with me so I just hung up and called the police station and told them.

Thank you so much for the above posts.  I just received a call from this number.  I do have a payday loan outstanding but it is current.  I panicked at first and bought some time to do my own research.  The scenerio was the same as Mitch had described, threats threats threats.  Thanks again for pointing this fraud out!

You guys should be ashame of your self pretending to be a law firm  associate  and try to make money. You guys should go to jail for lying. These guys will harass very agressively. please dont give information anymore. they got this off the internet..thanks for the other posting

they keep on calling me and i keep on hanging up on them.  their story is that i owe someone money and they are trying to collect it.  The truth is i dont owe anyone money.  these people should get cought and thrown in jail in india where they are from.  the us state justice department has them listed as fraud and and knows they are in india and is persueing them

i got many phone calls from this number telling me that if i didnt pay them 800 dollars that they would contact my employer and have me arrested if i didnt settle this matter with them. it was around 6pm when they called me and harassing me and my wife. Also, this guys name was Julian Marshall. i couldnt understand him at all, he had a really heavy indian accent. he kept making threat to me, telling me to goto walmart and get a moneycard to send him the money. when i asked him what company he was he just kept going on and on about this matter. this company called my employer earlier today. i researched this number and the other numbers they called me on and there is alot more people having this problem too. Theres a law for things like these its called: Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). It states that these people are not allowed to contact your employer nor make threats like they have done to me. It states this is a civil matter not a criminal one. I wish someone would just make these people stop this because its very upsetting. thank you

everyone is correct his name is jillian marshall and he always says the same thing .  " hes from some law firm and hes trying to collect some monies for someone" it's all bull the minute u get this call hang up and call the ftc at 8773824357 and report it well all gotta come together and get them.  and Jullian Marshall or what ever your name is their getting close and you and the rest of those [***] next to you are gonna be left to rot in jail soon enough.  oh and every one they have a few numbers they call from some from washington state callifornia all over its all a scam remember we live in america and their are laws that protect us.

These same people started calling me last week from ph# (214) 702-9432 after I had applied for an online loan.  [That's how they obtained my current employer phone#.]  I didn't answer the calls because I let calls that I don't recognize go to voicemail.  
They left the first message on a Saturday morning--the caller had such a thick Indian accent I could barely understand what he said.  I returned the call and was told I owe a loan and they continued talking real fast about fraud and jail that I may qualify for "out of court restitution" and I was transferred to the "restitution dept".  Steve Clark answered and said he would check with their "paralegal dept" to see if I qualified for a OOCR {Out of Court Restitution). I was then informed that if I don't pay $775.57 he would instantly FAX a subpeona to by employer,..I would get fired,..I would go to jail and it would cost me thousands of dollars in legal fees to go to court.  I told them I didn't have that much money and would see if I could get it from a relative.  He told me to first FAX a handwritten letter to them within 15 minutes stating "I intend on making restitution".  They gave a FAX # beginning with area code 206 (which is in Seattle WA).  

In a follow-up call I inquired on why they are located in Texas, but their FAX was in WA.  He told me they have offices all over the US--blah blah blah]
After speaking to a relative, they advised that I need to have them prove what company or law firm they represent before I released any funds to them.  I called the number back and I kept getting a message that the voicemail box was full.  Then I received a call again (still Saturday).  The caller was "Steve Clark" and he stated I had 30 minutes to pay them.  I told them I called my bank and was told "it takes 2 to 24 hrs for a money transfer to my bank and that is on a regular business day...but today is Saturday",  They took a breath and told me that the "restitution dept" would not hold the matter for longer than 45 minutes and told me that the loan was taken out online and therefore any correspondence was sent to my email so they didn't need to send me anything to prove who they were.  Well, it's Monday and they started calling me at work and this time from 866-978-8144.  I told them that the money has not had time to hit the bank...so once again I was told that I had 30 minutes.  That is when I did a reverse 800# lookup online and found this website.  They called again and I explained that FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Agency) forbids them from harassing me at work or calling me at work.  He said it sounded like I was threatening him and then he said that my out of court restitution was now rescended and he was going to FAX a subpeona to my employer.  I said "Oh you don't want the money anymore!!!" And I hung up.  He then called my cell phone and left a message as if he was talking to the Human Resourses Dept of my employer asking for their FAX number.  I guess that was the last ditch effort to panic me into sending them the money.  I am leaving this detailed account of what happened so that others that are contacted may find anything I experienced useful in combating these types of fraudulent and harrassing calls.

12:20pm lunch.  I just recieved this call to my employment as well from this same guy.  Julian Marshall.  He claims he works with the federal government.  He almost got me good, I was actual jst about to fax and pay him the money.  I do as well have a current payday loan.  But it's not outstanding.  I also called and made a complaint with local police.  Something jst didnt sound right to me.  Do not fall for this scam.

Voice mail states they want me to do a medical survey, which is a total B.S based on everything I found about them.
