Unknown caller - sounding like an automated call, mentioning something about taxes, and some sort of economic recovery program. Out of the blue, and a male voice. Message was cut off at the beginning. Didn't mention person by name.

Unknown caller sounded like an automatic call. Something about taxes & a recovery program. A man’s voice. Followed by a long buzzing sound

This is a scam. Do not call them back. They are attempting to sound like a governmental agency "helping" you on your taxes.

The beginning of the message was cut off. So idk if they used my name. Something about paying taxes- I don’t pay tax returns. I get money back from my tax returns.

Call came in as “unknown” but the prerecorded voice listed this number.

No company name listed. Nor did they name anyone. It sounds like they wanted to use scare-tactics, making it sound like there IS a past due tax without actually saying “you have a past due tax”… likely banking on scaring people into calling them to get things “fixed”.

I work for a tax agency so, of course, I knew this was a scam right away. Please people, we don't make calls this. We identify ourselves when we call, we do not make automated robo-calls. Ever.

Thanks a lot, and talk to you soon. Bye." Fast talking mail robocaller with same message as some others but cut off in the beginning lasting about 12-13 seconds, followed by one minute of electronic background noise.
