Someone called me from this number saying that I did fraud with my checking acct. and that I would have to pay a bal in oder for me not to go to jail. Have some received any phone call from this people who are they?

its a scam they are trying to get you to pay them for nothing. Contact your state attorney general office and report them. AGAIN DO NOT PAY.

Received a call from a number (714-590-5505)with this call back number (866-979-5505) on my cell phone.  Left a message saying I had been implicated in a situation and they need me to clarify some things and that I need to clear my name.  The caller's name was Barry Stockton, very deep voice.  Said to call him back and this was his extension number 239.  Said company name was NRS.  I have no clue what this is about and do not plan on calling them back or answering if they call again.  Sounds like a scam.

Yup, just got a call from someone and they said the same thing.  Very rude and they were badgering me.  Scam artists--I think I'm going to get them...

Got a call from them today they try to scare you into giving them you info.if they ligit they will send you the paperwork you ask for.If you keep getting call hang up.call the bbb or any one of you local goverment offices.They made me so mad the first one I talk too was very rude.wouldnt give me his name.I google the address and its in the middle of the street. the address is 9052 west katella anaheim ca. 92804 google map iiit and see what comes up.

Look up this company on google earth went to address 9852 West Katella ave ste # 426 no one there at ste 426 all you have to do is google map this address and it will give you all the names of the shops in this mall couldnt fine NRS so if anyone knows how to get in touch with them let us know

I received a call on my cell phone yesterday asking if I had received a summons.  I said I had not.  They were harassing and would not give any details as to why I would be summoned.   they did tell me it was regarding a friend of mine.   Said federal law prohibited me from telling them any details.   I talked with a David Smith from extension #229.

I received a call from my father, ex father in law, and ex fiance who told me of receiving calls from a Mr Bowen from this number. They told each one a different story ranging from they are implicating them in a bank fraud case since they can not get a hold of me to they are from the HR department and are trying to reach me. I called them back and specifically asked them if they were a collection agancy in which they replied thay were not that this was an investigative service. After prying for more information I found out they were attempting to collect on an old debt that was payed off already but they still tried to get money out of me. To which I told them to cease and decist and that they were in violation of the fair credit collection act of 2006 by using deceptive practices to locate individuals for the intention to collect on a debt. We will see if that works, for now. I am sending a letter to them thanks to those above that have found and address.

i recieved a call from them 2 days ago they had actually called my employer  my boss emailed me told me to talk to them they said tht i was involved in social security number fraud from  a online payday loan from webpayday i asked them if they had a website and asked if they were collection agency and they said they were not that they were a private company of investors? lol   any way i dont kow what i should do are they scams? are they legit?  the man i tlaked to was a mr" Zavala which was sending me red flags every where but he new my account number to my old bank account he new my address and social security number im freaking out! said something about fraud? what do i do ?

I got a call from them the other day as well: are they scamming or what. Seems like I saw something like this on Dateline last week that this is against the law.

They called me the other day at work threatening me to go to jail and that I have a fraud charge against me...all for 300.00 right?? Well they can kiss my 300.00 ass.

this agency called me at work last Wed telling me they were going to arrest me for fraud and that I am to pay them 300.00. It was the same number as above. They were rude, nasty and not to mention this kind of fraud was on Dateline last week.  Apparently they are doing this to a lot of people.

This place is a collection agency. They are good at telling people they are going to jail and that they have commited some type of fraud and will be prosecuted. They go after people that also have gone through bankruptcy. This tactic is not legal by any means. Call the FTC and report them. I would also call the State Attorney General office in the state you live in. They will also contact people that you uses as a reference and tell them they are part of the fraud charges. They are very intimidating because that is what they get paid for. They can be charged for this. If you have gone thhrough a bankruptcy and they are calling contact your attorney. Have the attorney call them, and hopefully that will stop them. Like I said they are a collection agency, so they will have info about you from the original lender. They just choose to be dishonest  and not follow the law. One day it will be them in the situation where they are being called by people just like themselves. If every one files a complaint with the FTC about this company they will eventually investigate. They can be fined large amounts of money, and if you have been discharged from a bankruptcy they can also be fined for that.

I just recieved a phone call telling me that I wrote checks that were bad across state lines and that I was fraudlent against a payday loan company. When I asked to pay off the balance in installments they told me I was refusing to to settle this debt and denying my civil consumer rights. I told them I would pay for anything that I had in arrears and they basically said no and were yelling at me... what the heck??? I had trouble with my banking account and I explained that and told them I would send money orders. Whatever... need their address to report them to the attorney general's office. Anyone know it???
